I don't
and most pseudoscience coolness is being imported from the jewnited states

Bullshit, our laws on GMOs are far looser than European ones. You can't just blame us for everything.

They're bad because they can be used to feed niggers rather than letting them starve.

>letting corporations patent and licence lifeforms is good
GMO in itself is not that bad if you don't try to do too crazy things or let the results into wilds, but fuck the big companies trying to own life.

I don't know why GMOs would be bad?
However i try to eat organic, wouldn't want another atrazine ''accident'' now would we?

I really believe it's bad, I don't eat any products with gmos

France doesn't like GMOs because low cost Eastern European GMO cultures will kill our agricultural industry.

Yeah, i never got this one either, it's literally just salt

you don't "get it" because you're a retard

>>letting corporations patent and licence lifeforms is good
It really depends on how such legislation is implemented. If it's properly time limited and reasonable standards have to be met in order to get it, then it could very well be a positive thing.

don't have enough brainlets to do justice to this thread

Ok, anonymous poster on an anime imageboard that sits and talk to other anonymous strangers at 0020 hours at a thursday night with an apparent Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry, teach me

momma didn't take enough pictures of you as a kid?

wahey

Basically if you like your neurons, avoid this.

GMO itself is probably good, the issue is how it will be used, see

Wow, what an altruistic opinion for a continent that contributes absolutely nothing to GMO research while the US spends all the money, effort, and risk on trying to perfect it.

Europe wants all the benefits of perfected GMO testing and research while not wanting to put forth an inch of effort towards its development.

If you think it's fair that gmo corn doesn't produce seeds, or monsanto suing farmers for wind blowing their seeds on to other farms, I don't know what to tell you

it's pretty disgusting how widespread anti-gmo beliefs are
for how much euros make fun of yanks for antivaxxers, this is just as bad

Its the same dilemma as the patent trolling. The specific problem itself needs to be dealt with with Monsanto disingenuously suing farmers for inadvertent spread, but the idea that artificially designed life shouldnt be able to be patented is nonsense.
