Blue eyes?
I have seen similar looking arabs.
Fucking ugly, first time i saw her on tv i thought she was north african...then i discover "sicilian" what a surprise
because i bet her dna has a good part of arab genes, she comes from arab sicilian, her face is not italian at all.
She could be egyptian, lebanese, moroccan but not italian. I know so many sicilians and you can see the difference between med european and arabs. It's not about the color of your skin, it's about the physiognomy of her face.
Allah Ackbar face
Ugly.
Sicilian are simple better
>Be sicilian
>We sicilians are the best
>be Sicilian
>most based island in the world
I am LOMBARD (germanic), and I hate tarùn southrons. But hell! she is cute!
99% of them are donkeys
Even worst than neapolitans in places like Catania or Ragusa
>lombard = germanix
kekaroo
She's not even terùn, she looks like a fucking kebab woman. Italian girls are 1000 better than this falafel
she looks better than 99% of shitcilian moorettes
only the norman 1% can compete
>Muh sicilians famous people
Every fucking region in Italy has genius and artists, posting random people don't prove a shit. Even with the special status sicily is a third world region with mafia, lazy people and secrecy about local criminality "nuttung hppd here, mafia dos nut exist". Women are still at home doing anything and in some place people can't even speak italian.
I'm saying this because i'm half sicilian and i know very well what a shity region is, only history save it but people are trash
>99% of shitcilian moorettes
t.never been in Sicily
no, they are hapas
>some place people can't even speak italian.
do they speak arabic?
They speak sicilian, it's a dialect
no they speak dialect you retard
and every city has its own dialect
can people from the north understand sicilian?
Problem is they can't make a real distinction between italian and sicilian so, if someone try to speak italian he uses italian words mixed with sicilians.
Something like "Ciao friend, how stare you?"
Even young guys make these mistakes, i can tell you this because i have a grandma there and i usually go in summer.
A little, because some famous movies have Sicilian dialogues and you end up learning it. But it's really difficult to understand them
Preserving dialects is important though.
it's not that difficult, but there are many dialects. Here in italy everyone thinks their dialects are "languages" but 90% of dialect's words are similar to italian, sometimes they only remove the last letter of the word. For exemple
car----> Macchina in italian --->machina in neapolitan
run----> correre in italian ---> curriri in sicilian
Yeah but a mix is not sicilian neither italian.
That's true
is this a reenactment of Alì Babà and the 40 thieves?
lol try to understand this
I do, but I am currently learning Farsi and Arabic at uni, so that might help
Like i said, 90% are more or less italians.
Ps: I forgot sardinian, i don't understand anything of that because is not an italian language but close to ancient latin. For exemple they pronunce the C --> K like romans did.
Caesar in ancient latin was something like Kaisar.
That wasn't Sardinian.
Anyway there are dialects really really hard for anyone, it depends where you live.
>Sicilians aren't base-
BTW i can try to translate it (the first part at least):
E scappa a sposarti con quel toscano
che non si capisce una madonna di quello che dice
si mangia le parole come il pane
e adesso queste si trovano nella pancia etc
6/10 dai
I know lol.
Dialects are not complicated, maybe if someone speak, but if you read the text you will understand more or less the meaning.
I'm half sicilian and half piemontese
>but if you read the text you will understand more or less the meaning
Of course, like when you read Spanish or Portuguese (or even Esperanto in some cases)
Sicilian is unironically the contemporary language that is the most unchanged from Latin.
>I'm half sicilian and half piemontese
el terrone immigrato...
No that is Sardinian
To me that i don't know a shit about spanish, italian dialects are more understandable.
"Cunservet Deus su Re
Salvet su Regnu Sardu
Et gloria a s’istendardu
Cuncedat de su Re!
chi manchet in nois s’animu
chi languat su valore
Pro fortza o pro terrore
Non apas suspetu, o Re.
Cunservet Deus su Re…
Unu o omni chentu intrepidos
A ferru et a mitralia
In vallu e in muralia
amus a andare o Re.
Cunservet Deus su Re…"
This is the first hymn of Reign of Sardinia, i understand less but the meaning looks clear. BTW sardinian looks like way more latin than italian--->Salvet,cunservet,deus,omni..
What did you talking about?? It is sardinian, look i just posted a sardinian text.
Is mia madre the emigrata but my father is from Asti, i was born here
It's almost maccheronic Latin... beautiful
One drop rule
I loved latin at liceo classico, i love latin words, are better than some italians.
youtube.com
Omg this hymn is amazing
Ps: butthurt sardinians in the comments blaming piemontese occupation kek
