How much time do you spend on the internet ?

Does work count?

It doesn't matter if you do it for work or pleasure

~15 hours a day. Literally all I do.

How do you think we can moderate this addiction ? Because it's not like alcohol, we will never be able to get rid of it completely.

The only times i'm not online is when i'm eating, taking a shit or sleeping.

this

>Dedicate a room or a living space for your computer and electronics far away from your bed
>Keep a schedule of all your activities
>Find hobbies that take you far away from your computer
>Stop playing F2P or subscription games

Managed to break addiction to internet when I was France mainly because I was far away from my main rig at home and spent all my time walking around in your lovely pedestrian-friendly streets (minus the occasional asshole driver). Then when I came back, I promptly became addicted again due to lack of activity.

Our situations are probably different. While I'm definitely to an extent addicted to it, I'm also dying to do go out and do other stuff. It's just that due to certain circumstances, I can't right now. I'm personally also not looking to completely get rid of it.

16ish
sometimes can spend like 2-3 days straight at computer if there's some new mmo

But I browse on my smartphone from the comfy bed...
Where did you live ?

The outside world is terrifying

In France? Some student residence in Tours.

Now? A townhouse in a Toronto suburb. Avec mes parents.

Tours looks boring

although it's better to live in a human-centric urban space than a car one.

>The outside world is terrifying
I struggle with a crippling social anxiety, so to an extent I agree, but as long as it doesn't involve social interactions I don't mind it. When I said I was dying to go out and do other stuff, I specifically had photography and hiking in mind. I really want to go hiking in the wild and photograph nature.

this except I eat in front of computer

Do you think art is a decent way to socialize ?

something like 14 hours a day.

based

Entire time I don't sleep

What are your favourite places to browse, things to watch, things to play ?

>wikipedia
>trashy youtubers
>smart youtubers
>gameplay
>skyscrapercity
>news /science /geopolitics articles
>music
>tv series
>movies

Do you have anything in mind related to my post when you ask that, or are you just asking in general? If it's the latter, then it all depends on what you're talking about, I'd say. A lot of art is mostly about appreciation, while some other forms, like music for instance, can incite socialization pretty well.

Sorry if this answer is way off what you were asking about, but I'm a bit thrown off by the question.

this or 16

Because it seems that you go out to produce art and inspire yourself

So you're talking about the photography part in particular? In that case, no, it would have no socialization aspect. I still kinda confused and not sure if I'm getting what you're asking though, so feel free to elaborate if that's the case.

this.
don't know how to break it because there's nothing else in my life

I work 11 hours almost every day, get home, have a shower, eat dinner, then browse the internet or read a book for 2-3 hours before falling asleep
