Fake news. Trump won the real popular vote. Only illegals being bussed around the country voted Hillary
Why didn't the democrats just bus illegals to bumfuck no where and outvote the locals 10 to 1?
There is literally nothing wrong with the electoral college and its a good thing the EU operates by a similar thing. it would never work if germ*ny or france would have so much influence simply due to their population
>Why didn't the democrats just bus illegals to bumfuck no where and outvote the locals 10 to 1?
because they aren't lying, cheating fucks like conservatives?
Yep, this has been proven.
There aren't enough illegals to do that in Kansas or wherever, but there was confirmed voter fraud in places like California. Illegals, dead people, people voting multiple times..you name it.
Electoral collage is a good thing.
What's not good is that it's gerrymandered to favour republicans.
Those rural farmers do have a point about needing more of a voice compared to dense city dwellers who have never seen nature, even if they do coke across as a big roughZ
Maybe Hillary should have been smarter and not assumed the Upper Midwest and Pennsylvania would default to blue.
>voter fraud in places like California
Ayo hol up senpai why would they bother trying to inflate the votes in a state which is already overwhelmingly left when they know full well how the electoral college works?
EU representation works a million times better. Even if you want a system for representing regions rather than people, the electoral college is shit.
To win the popular vote and to keep up this stupid narrative of "Trump's presidency is illegitimate because Hillary won the popular vote'.
Somehow I doubt they went to great effort to bus illegals around with the intention of losing.
I never said they had the intention of losing. Voter fraud also took place in swing states but that was cancelled out by the surge of Trump voters who had never voted in previous elections.
Because you have to be a resident of a state to vote in elections there, which usually requires at least 1 year of physical residency. Democrats would have to bus in people and pay to house and feed them for a year.
>Democrats would have to bus in people and pay to house and feed them for a year.
Don't give them ideas.
Fair enough I guess, it just seems like a retarded move to have concentrated effort like that in places with overwhelming majority like cali. Effort which could have been spent more on swing states.
>Yep, this has been proven.
No.
California allows illegals to vote by law, other states have stricter laws.
It literally doesn't. Only US citizens can vote in federal elections.
t. Anderson Cooper
It literally does. Voters are automatically registered in California when they renew their driver’s license, and California allows illegals to hold a driver's license.
To what end? And why are you lying, there was no voter fraud, certainly nothing beyond individual cases, and no large scale scheme that involved physically driving people around in a fucking bus to vote in different places.
Motor voter laws do not enfranchise illegals. I don't want to be that guy who posts politifact, but holy shit: politifact.com

Yeah, that's how it works.
We can't let 2 states decide who is president.
>We can't let the majority of citizens elect the president
The US isn't unitary country like Finland. The majority of voters in a majority of states chose Trump as president. That's how a federal state works.
I know right? It's fucking laughable.
What's your point?
It’s a republic but regardless one might wonder why the opinion of people from Idaho should matter more than those of Massachuchets or Texas
But it doesn't. It matters just as much, the number of electoral college votes that a state has is proportionate to its population.
It’s pretty biased to smaller states and they have a winner takes all in place in like 45 states meaning that most votes get nullified while you can win with I think about 35% of the votes
If you get a slight majority in states like Delaware, Arkansas, DC and such you can win with about 21.3% of the popular vote. Assuming a tiny victory in the minimum amount of needed states while all of Cali, NY, Texas vote 0% for you.
That's more a problem with first past the post rather than the electoral college. The EC can still operate in a system whereby college voters are allocated proportionally to the percentage of votes a candidate receives in a particular states.
Of course that’s the main issue but still people from Wyoming count twice as much as people from Cali
The EC is the price for keeping less-populous states in the union. The people who live in those states already feel deeply disenfranchised so the compromise that led to the EC is just as relevant today as it was in the 1790s.
I think it makes total sense from a federal perspective, but not so much from a democratic single state one.
Californians BTFO all your massive population has gotten you is 3k a month rents for studio apartments
Isn’t this a coastal wide problem with the exception of the southern East coast?
>The majority of voters in a majority of states chose Trump as president. That's how a federal state works
Except it's not. That's how the United States election system works. A federated state does not have a single specified election system, Germany and Russia are federations which do not use that system for electing president. The electoral college is american retardation, don't go blaming it on the type of state.
Back you go.
How many years can leftists keep crying about this?
They should know how our system works.

Right-o, my fellow kekistani!
>voter fraud
>in places like California
Hey, genius, tell me, why would there be organized voter fraud in a place that has voted Democrat by large margins every single time since 1988? That's like voter fraud in DC or Massachusetts where at least 80% vote blue every single election.
