Same. I actually have this Italian diaspora childhood friend, and while both of his parents were both fair skinned, he ended up with literal brown skin for some reason. Never knew if his mom cucked his dad or if his dormant Arab genes took over.

I think it's because of how a lot of people in Italy have brown/olive skin, curly like hair (idk how to explain) and are overall shorter than anglos/germanics/nords. They look nothing like "white people" so to say.

Completely serious here but I met this one Sicilian who I literally thought was an Arab/refugee until he told me his name. There are also MANY Italians with blonde hair/blue eyes so it's still a meme kinda.
