Right away with the controversy, huh?

Jaggy, stop posting on news articles. Making a wally of yourself, you dumb cunt.

Having a baby is like deciding to get a dog now wtf

>Hey honey should we keep the baby?
>Nah I'm not ready yet, it costs too much and it is too much responsibility

I don't think that if you decide that you don't want the dog on the way home from the pound that it's socially acceptable to throw it out of the moving car.

You can put the dog down though, like you can with a baby

Well you can put it down until it comes out f the womb.

Don't worry. Ireland will vote NO. Can't wait.

Ha did yis see the big NO on the side of Benbulben? Class.

Some interesting stuff out of the Paradox convention.
New sci-fi Age of Wonders game could be quite good.
CK2 expansion focusing on religious wars looks decent enough.
And the new Rome game which will hopefully be an interesting hybrid between CK2 and EU4.

Attached: 1496396690454.png (621x983, 482K)

I don't even know how to play EU4 anymore with all the expansions and patches they've made that's completely changed everything. I hope their future games won't have so many post-launch changes and that they'll cut down on the whole mana aspect, but perhaps that's just wishful thinking.

>I hope their future games won't have so many post-launch changes
I don't think it's possible for them to make a game with less than €1000 worth of DLC, I'm afraid.

Truly a sad case of how money and power can corrupt. EU3, Victoria 2 and HoI 3 were all great, and EU4 and CK2 were brilliant in the early days of Paradox's money-grubbing DLC ways as well, but they've just gone way too far over the years.

Date on the 3DS somehow set itself to the 29th of January 2011.

Finally, I've been dying for something like this. The naval dlc for HoI IV looks pointless, and I refuse to spend another single penny on CK2.

Attached: uk-02-hawker-hurricane.jpg (600x940, 160K)

I'm probably completely wrong here, but I thought it was kore wa nan ((desu) (ka))? Or are both acceptable?

>EU4 and CK2 were brilliant in the early days
I think CK2 has only gotten better, for the most part, though I would agree that EU4 has suffered an awful lot from "feature-creep" or whatever you wish to call it.
Wish things like estates would've never been introduced for a start.

>The naval dlc for HoI IV looks pointless
Think HoI IV is a bit of a dead game in fairness, which is a pity. All of the DLC appears to have been quite lacklustre?
Stellaris DLC they announced also seems a bit too bare, another "story-pack".
>I've been dying for something like this
Did you play the original? Was it good?
Could really be interesting with all the different cultures in the game, though I can foresee a DLC for each individual one to flesh them out.

Are you delighted? Button on YouTube now has a union flag and all for it.

Attached: 1519727275261.jpg (729x920, 422K)

>Are you delighted?
What sort of question is that?

Attached: 1502850008585.jpg (600x881, 112K)

>What sort of question is that?
Uhhh, a probing one maybe? Isn't their culture quite aesthetic desu?

Attached: 1496395095818.jpg (800x1020, 84K)

I see Eva and Adolf are getting hitched.

>Think HoI IV is a bit of a dead game in fairness, which is a pity.
I don't think so, thought Stellaris was the dead game desu.
>Did you play the original?
Yea, but it was after I played EU3, CK2 and Vicky 2, so it felt out of date and I couldn't get into it.

Attached: hetzer_by_nymbryxion101-d9kd6eo.jpg (1024x1005, 305K)

These Munster championship games expected to be sold out? Not sure if I'll go or not tomorrow, haven't bought a ticket yet.

>it felt out of date and I couldn't get into it
Had a similar expierence and only played it for an hour or so.
>I don't think so, thought Stellaris was the dead game desu
I thought the opposite but HoI does appear to have nearly double the number of players online at the moment.

Attached: 1513300301605.jpg (952x529, 88K)

>Isn't their culture quite aesthetic desu?
I do like /aesthetics/. But I just tuned in for few minutes there a while ago while having lunch and there was a black American pastor shouting from the pulpit while the royals looked visibly uncomfortable. It would appear that protocol is not being adhered to.

The Jow Forums thread is quite funny though.

Well they're on TV but tickets are still available, yeah

Don't think they'll sell out two nearly 50,000 capacity stadia at this stage

>These Munster championship games expected to be sold out?
Nah. The only Munster championship game that tends to sell out is the final.

Attached: 1511901628730.png (683x705, 534K)

I just thought because of the new format and hype there may be massive attendances. An increase of some degree is likely though I guess.

>The Jow Forums thread is quite funny though
I hope it is full of people insulting the idea of a monarchy in the 21st century desu. Will I be disappointed?

>Will I be disappointed?
Severely.

Righties love their tradition and monarchs

Heading out for a bit, bye bye.
Shall return to see the actual event of the day, the Munster match.

I know you're off to the reception of the royal wedding. Don't lie to me.

Anybody watching/attending the football this evening?

When's the vote lads?

Friday.

Probably not but I still think I'll throw an accumulator on the games along with those tinpot hurling fixtures. I must say that the GAA seems underrated for gambling purpose to me. It's easier to pick a winner since draws are less likely due to the scoring being less discrete, yet people will still choose to lump their money on FL Championship games over in England only to get fucked over by a 0-0 draw

>I would agree that EU4 has suffered an awful lot from "feature-creep" or whatever you wish to call it.
Problem is there's stone cold nothing to do in eu4 if you're not at war. You build some buildings in your good provinces, make more units, and watch bars tick up.

Apparently the new DLC is going to focus on peace-time and trade? Still probably won't be sufficient.
Also the issue of having way too much money towards the end of the game.

Garry Ringrose sounds like a prick.

>Apparently the new DLC is going to focus on peace-time and trade?
To be fair, despite being very new to CK2, one of the main criticisms I'd have of the game is that there isn't much to do when you aren't at war and are just trying to amass wealth (in preparation for war). So this could be a good thing.

Bought some Appleman's cider lads

It's really nice

>there isn't much to do when you aren't at war and are just trying to amass wealth
>CK2
We're talking about EU4, that has the expansion that is focusing on peace-time stuff.
There is plenty of stuff to do in CK2 outside of war, and war is arguably one of the less major parts as you can in theory take over plenty of land just through inheritance and such. Also have you focuses, raising your family properly, diplomacy and intrigue with your vassals or your overlord if you are a vassal, secret societies, heretical religions you could try spreading, getting your family to control the papacy and so on. You probably haven't explored most of these desu, but fear not.

New CK2 DLC focuses on holy wars and such, especially the northern pagan ones.

>We're talking about EU4, that has the expansion that is focusing on peace-time stuff.
Ah fuck, I could have sworn you were talking about CK2 at some point.

>Also have you focuses, raising your family properly, diplomacy and intrigue with your vassals or your overlord if you are a vassal, secret societies, heretical religions you could try spreading, getting your family to control the papacy and so on
All in support of war and expansion. Literally nothing else matters.

Attached: 1505387913408.png (869x1200, 1.2M)

>and war is arguably one of the less major parts
War for one county in ck2 takes a few months maybe a year (usually).
War for one county in eu4 is a huge grandiose event that requires you to occupy their capital, their allies' capital, and thoroughly whoop their ass in combat.

>All in support of war and expansion
Isn't that the purpose of most strategy games? Gaining more power, and building a successful dynasty in this case?
You can play as a republic and just try and amass wealth and be powerful that way. You try and make a ruler who your vassals respect so they won't rebel (cough). You build good familial relations so that your son won't try to murder you so you can take over or your brother won't go abroad and try and raise an army to steal the throne from you.
CK2 offers far more out of war stuff than other games. Plus it can be comfy to just have a small duchy and mess with the internal politics of kingdoms. It's a decent RP game.

Attached: 1503676142830.png (1500x2121, 2.02M)

Not arguing that the military systems in CK2 couldn't do with an improvement. EU4 is superior in that regard, no doubt about it. However there are plenty of more fun things in CK2 aside from the war system.
Also unless you are a small duke or count you should probably be trying for better CBs or larger claims instead of just fighting wars for one county.

>EU4 is superior in that regard, no doubt about it.
...what? I was making the exact opposite case. I should NOT need to siege down every single fucking province they have just to take ONE. It's even worse when the AI think it's really strong, and you're curb stomping them left and right, have the war goal, and their capital but "lol bro this war has only been going for 3 months."
>instead of just fighting wars for one county.
Well, you gotta start somewhere, and you don't always have the luxury of having claims on claims on claims (especially if you're tribal or something).

>I should NOT need to siege down every single fucking province they have just to take ONE
>It's even worse when the AI think it's really strong, and you're curb stomping them left and right
Sorry, I do actually agree with you on those. I guess I was just saying there is a bit more depth to the actual battles and such compared to CK2. Plus it has an actually naval system.
I like how in CK2 you get shit tons of war-score for controlling the war goal and beating the enemy in a few major battles. Makes it nice and snappy.

Earls please...

Women love dogs more than babies at this point.
None of the hormonal misfires telling them to kill and eat it, no propaganda pushed 24/7 by paid international government groups telling them cruelty to animals is okay.

Zebo desu.

Bit sexist of you to expect a woman to care for a baby, user. It's 2018!

Disappointing. Thought we were going to see a miracle there.
Made up ground very well from essentially their own five meter line. Another minute or two and the drop goal might've been on or Leinster could've given away a penalty.

The new ck2 dlc seems perfect for me since I was gonna do a Mongolia run but couldn't decide which religion to be. Guess I can stay Tengri and reform it to chill out a little.

>Guess I can stay Tengri and reform it to chill out a little
I didn't read up much on the expansion features in detail. How exactly does reforming work, is it the same as making it into an organised religion like present and you have to control 4/5 holy sites? You pick like traits or bonuses or something?

Attached: 1500208342174.png (594x483, 132K)

They have something similar for Protestantism in EU4, it'll be the same for the other made-up religions in CK2 no doubt.

I'm more interested in what this Rome game is about. Not interested enough to look it up though.

>Not interested enough to look it up though
Trailer was a bit light in detail. I may have a look later if I gather up the energy to do anything productive today.

There's just a blurry screenshot out for now. We'll get some more info next week probably.

Every thread the west nip posts tee hee wouldn't it be funny if we were ruled by britain... a-as a joke I was just talking aesthetics, you being alive is a good case for abortion.

Gentle reminder that this is the only major political party leader on the island who supports a No vote.

Detroit was quite fun. Theme of androids and whether or not they are human could be quite interesting.
Like how you can slow time and process information and it makes sense because you are an android/computer.
Only played it the once and kamikazed myself which in hindsight was probably a terrible decision. Any idea how long the final game will be?
