FunFair is a casino platform developer which aims to license white label casino games to individual operators (casinos).
Their CEO is Jez San, a guy who successfully founded pkr.com and made a killing back in the day, and they have been poaching employees from other actual online gaming companies—and not small companies, either. They actually pulled David Greyling from William Hill, which is huge.
Today they announced a partnership with a game developer and had Alice Cooper shilling their new slot machine game, which actually looks pretty fun and I think has a lot of appeal to the type of people who would actually gamble large amounts at a blockchain casino.
Their tech is legit and the company itself is legit. It's honestly one of the most serious projects in this space as far as I can tell. You can actually play right now on the testnet using metamask—it's pretty amazing compared to the alternatives (Etheroll, Edgeless): showcase.funfair.io/
Are there any other Jow Forumstards watching this? I don't think it's going to make millionaires out of us or anything, but it seems like an awesome project. I'm honestly really excited for it in the future and have a modest stake in it (although as I said, I don't expect it to explode in price overnight).
I think it could be huge once it hits the mainnet some time in June.
so like part of the goal of this coin to eventually have online gambling that accepts FUN? that seems like an obvious idea.

>so like part of the goal of this coin to eventually have online gambling that accepts FUN? that seems like an obvious idea. It's a white label casino platform. You can start your own casino, make your own logos, and put them on the FunFair games. FunFair isn't a casino, but they provide the tools to build a casino (including games and blockchain tech).

Let's get real.
It's an easy x25. Even x100 could happen. x1000 isn't going to happen.
Just do the math with the market cap.

COIN BURN

>still being so deluded that you think a coin that operates solely in a global industry of less than $50B total is going to make you insanely rich off a few thousand investment Funfags are the worst of all shitcoiners. They completely ignore all common sense.

no burn is happening
I see it as an easy 4x, but not those other numbers

>no burn is happening >The Burn mechanism we’re using for this has been in-built into the token contract since day one, and will demonstrate the effectiveness of burning tokens that can be accomplished on the live platform. To remain compliant with regulations where our intention is to burn tokens that have been used as fees (in a consumptive way like tickets for transit), we intend to take additional advice but should this prove problematic for compliance, we’ll work on alternative strategies prior to first use.
It will have a burn mechanism once it's live just like REQ.
Real use means absolutely nothing when you're investing for profitability. It's a speculative market. Whats your big claim? It'll be stable because its in production? Wrong. It's still tied to BTC.
Even if 100% of the industry adopts it you won't see Fun over $2, and that hypothetical would be years from now.
Real use means token velocity and restricted supply in this case, which is what we will see in late June if everything goes according to plan

I can see us hitting 1200 sats again soon desu
Christopher Perez
Honest question. What does that $50b consist of? Does it include all payouts? Does it include money casinos keep on hand? Or does it only include casino revenue?
Jason Lopez
My target is actually 2000 sats if bitcoin continues to move sideways at around 8k USD, that would put us at 17 cents in late May which I think is very possible
Owen Lewis
What he fails to understand is that the velocity of money is what matters at a casino, not market cap. Many times the market cap will run through the contracts (casinos) without actually inflating the visible market cap, and if there’s a mechanism to deflate the supply of FUN, that’ll be huge. Plus for things like bankrolls you need absolutely retard-tier amounts, which should help, too.
