Most of us are only interested in decentralized cryptocurrencies. Not in cetralized currencies and certainly not centralized cryptocurrencies that sell themselves as being decentralized.
The potential of crypto extends beyond the potential of making a quick buck. Full scale market adoption is something that is still needs to be created for decentralized cryptocurrencies insomuch that they cannot be seamlessly integrated into current economies right now. So if banks and other institutions are able to buy into something like Ripple right now it should tell you that they can use it to their advantage without changing the fundimental way they operate. For anyone who is trying to be part of a global solution this raises a huge red flag. Do the world a favour and steer clear of Ripple and its kin.
