Move to France ?
I believe most Portuguese would rather move to Germany than France.
No offense, but do you even know where these two countries are ?
buuuurn
I'm Portuguese-American. Raised by Portuguese parents. Born in America. I go back every summer to visit my family. I've met plenty of French and German people. The only French person I didn't hate was my lab professor here at Uni
>when you try to sell your old shitty car bulshitting in the ad and the buyer arrives with his friend automechanic
What do you think of vinho verde ?
Negře, prosím
The song? The actual wine?
Actual wine
No b8, but honestly I rather be poor in Porrtugal, cant imagine myself living in one of those countries, plus it makes no sense going now that I'm hitting 40.
It's alright. I've never been much of a wine person, having grown up drinking with Americans. I much rather prefer beer. But many Portuguese men still drink a lot of superbock and sagres beer. The wine is only at the dinner table.
South or North? I'm from Minho. I've always preferred it because of the beautiful mountains and friendly people. I've always found the South just to dry for my tastes (in terms of vegetation and scenery). I've also found northerners to be more likeable although that might just be bias.
Porto right now
We pass through there whenever we're switching between my Mom and Dad's towns. My Mom is from Aveiro but I've always considered myself minhoto
But you're american
Anyone else hate driving, but have to?
I mean whenever people ask me where I'm from in Portugal, I'll always just say minhoto as that's the side I feel more comfortable with.
I think most people tend to forget just how much of the Portuguese population went and lived abroad after the end of the estado novo. There are Portuguese people in US West and East Cost, Canada, Australia, UK, Germany, and even some South American countries. Even in African and Asian countries, though not as much.
The guys down South will make fun of you if you're a Portuguese born in America. Guys up North never did that. Portuguese is my first language and yet they still don't consider me Portuguese. Northerners didn't care. They just loved that I was there.
I love working on cars but hate driving, ironically. Although that's only in city and highway driving because of all the idiots.
What do you work with? I'm still young and wanted to move somewhere else and have considered Portugal, I have always been a portuboo.
Work in a company that manages restaurants.
every single BR guy here is a janitor, but it really doesn't mater what you do, every one makes the same money, me, a janitor, police officer, nurse, etc...
I see. Is this in any region or is there hope somewhere in Portugal? I really like the country and every Portuguese I've met were pretty nice people.
