I still use a 9 year old desktop PC with an integrated PCI card that allows me to watch analog cable TV on my computer. I bought this card something like over 10 years ago for my old PC and put it later on into my new computer but I have not used it for several years now.

Funny thing is I live in germany and they already turned of all analog TV signals in my state almost 1 year ago. The only reason I noticed it was gone was when my father tried to watch something on analog cable in his bedroom.

Only them I noticed that for several months there was no signal.

Sometimes I see what my parents are watching and I am no longer able to enjoy it anymore.

I didnt have one for 5 years, then my parents bought me one because my dad was sick of coming over and not watching anything. They bought me a pretty good one too, I use it to watch netflix.

I have a tv but no cable. I just use YouTube and sometimes my mom’s Netflix account with the smart tv function. It’s comfy while doing other things on the pc.
