the current best long term strat is hamsters but make sure to max out all goo units first. Also investing in some hares or rats can boost your early game significantly

Get a free kitty which will produce 0.2 goo/s. Its f2p & you can make small amount of eth/account. Buy a lot more production unit & upgrades with goo. The first few upgrades cost little eth 0.002-0.005 but the divs were worth the small eth fee. Plus this the small eth upgrades was used to prevent 1 person controlling thousands of bots accounts.
Its an addictive game & im using all my idle game strategies to stay ahead!

It isn't really viable to f2p this game (spending an initial bit on gas) and profit/advance, right? You max out pretty quickly and itd take you forever to scrounge up enough eth from the daily deposit box to get upgrades. The daily research pot isn't even profit.

not true! There are several different strategies for this game. The dev is also really devoted to improving the game so expect even more soon.
For example, you can get a big military f2p and invade people continue playing that way. This method provides a lot of goo.

Are you sure about that? My lab units are maxed already as f2p and as I said, I don't profit on the daily research pot at a 1 gwei fee rate. I profit about 1 gwei on the daily goo pot, but I'd barely profit if safelow went to 2gwei and stuck there. It would take such an insane amount of time to progress that way. My guess is these numbers will only get worse as other players who pay progress.
As for attacking, I haven't bought any attacking units because I know that if I f2p-maxed out centurions, I would only have about 6 million goo stealing power. Im guessing that means if you hit a 0 def youd actually get that much goo. So, you would spend 1-2 gwei each attack for 6 million goo, but 6 million goo was worth about 1 cent's worth to the daily pot yesterday. Youd have to spend another gwei or 2 to deposit into that box.

every 24 hours the goo is sold for ether. The current pot is at 2.6846 ether. Also, it is important if you decide to spend ether on the game to use your ether wisely. Expanding unit caps for higher up scientists can give you more of an edge with spending less ether.
