What do non-native speakers think English really sounds like? I imagine it must be a bit like Dutch, which isn't particularly attractive to me. Does it sound nice? Is it a pleasure to speak? Or is it a bit of a chore?

Then you're a fucking retarded for never realizing that dutch sounds like diarrhea.
It sounds whiny and weak, compared to German and Slavic languages
I notice that my jaw is a bit stiff after speaking English, but not as stiff as when I try speaking Dutch.
Well it's the closest thing to English to our ears, French is too wishy washy and German is too ordnung
Not as bad as I assumed then
My throat becomes sore when I try to speak french
British: drunk gibberish
American: "Yeehaaw, we gon git em good bois"
Australian/NZ: "Ooga booga wer da wite wimmin at"
South African: "Ooga booga wer da wite wimmin at"
Canada: "Wing ching pong, wanga langa ping song"
At this point it has become another primary language. It just sounds natural to me.

That clip of old english is full of proverbs and words which translate better to dutch than english. quite interesting... I could probably read 40 % of it without help.
I live in a place with. Lot of English speaking tourists so English is pretty normal sounding to me at this point.
Only Egyptian Arabic and English sound normal to me at this point. I studied English when I was really young, around 8, and I stopped thinking in Arabic completely a loooong time ago desu.
