Honestly lads, here’s the smart thing to do:
A) find you a plot of land far away from any shore, but preferably near a water source
B) build an underground bunker
C) fill it with canned food and canned water. Maybe a giant step tic tank iis th water
D) learn how to farm inside of your bunker. Farm beats, yams, potatoes, rice, veggies, fruits. Buy a few chickens make and female. Eat their eggs
E) buy some guns. Some ammo. Some armor
F) get a ham radio and makeshift internet WiFi
G) download all of Wikipedia (can fit on a single USB stick); download tons of free books; download music, art, the Bible, pictures of places before the nuclear fallout, anything digital worth preserving
H) keep your bunker hidden. Tell no one. With society falls, people WILL GO CRAZY searching for you if they know you’re prepped
I) turn your cell phone off. They will track you
J) only trust the UN, the USA, or any English speaking country. Do not trust Chinese or Russian broadcast telling you it’s okay to come out.
K) Learn a martial art or how to sword fight now if you’re caught too far away from your bunker
