the frogs are mad at us rn, best leave them be
good, fuck france
What did we do?
Not anymore.
why?
trump made macron look like a moron and they basically got reamed in the ass over this whole iran thing
based and redpilled
you know we basically shit on them after the war right?
his top advisor called all americans obese retards, they're pretty mad
what and you didn't shit on us? at least the frogs went full neo-imperialst instead of cucking to play the eternal sidekick.
no u lol
us was split after the war of trading and such with the UK and France. I think Hamilton wanted us to establish ties with Britannia and Benjamin Franklin with the French. We owed the french a fuckton in debt for helping our revolution and when they went through their revolution we cut the deal. The US said it didn't owe anything to the new government of France. This made the french upset and start the quasi war I believe...
The Kingdom of France is America's true friend, the French Republic never did anything for us.
Oh, I thought you meant WW2.
Nobody cares about the meme secession war except Americans.
The founding fathers were English masons so it's no surprise where their loyalties lay.
>yank frenchaboo ACTUALLY believes that the french don't universally loathe americans
>yank frenchaboo ACTUALLY thinks we care either way
stop obsessing over us
I was talking about the immediate aftermath of the revolutionary war. I thought OP thinks france is our greatest ally or whatever because they help us with the revolution.
can't
In all honesty I hate you both but the French are probably superior to you. I am not OP by the way.
Hahahaha
Not the person you're replying to, but nah.
>Quebec and Lousiana are the superior colonies
Weirdly we both helped each other in roundabout ways:
The aftermath caused the French revolution, which led to Napoleonic, civic law across the continent - seperating us from Europe to this day, but allowed Pax Britannia with the French weakened. Which in a weird way allowed you to pick up the English, common law pieces post WW1 and build pax Americana.
As an American the French had done a lot more for us than the Brits. They helped us get independence, we fought the Brits in the mid-1810s alongside them, they practically gave us 1/3 of our country and allowed us to expand westward, they stopped you guys from intervening on the South's side in the Civil War. So yeah, they definitely done a lot more. American common law is much more strict and not similar in anyway than British or European common law, with influences from both, predominantly British. But, in a sense, you've been our eternal enemies. The French have just been an unreliable ally. Only recently have you tried to reconcile with us, but only when we have power. The French were always nice to us even when we were just a small regional power.
deluded.
hey OP, that frog face has actually become an image of right-wing hatred (racism) on some circles on the internet
i assume you don't know that so i thought i'd let you know
Well it sort of is the truth. The French opinion on America hasn't really changed. It is an opinion of annoyance and distrust but they're there when we need them and vice versa. The British opinion on us has varied widely, generally depending on how powerful we are.
No it's not. The French conspiracied against us until the 1870
link pls.
1776 best year of my life.
Open a history book and start with the quasi war
Yeah, I never said we were literally best of friends. I just said they were on our side far more times than Britain.
Is the UK bullied?
not bullied enough
good post, keep posting like this please
why would I care
just... no.
you were a pawn in the war between us and france, it took us a century to get back on good terms and we've been on very good terms since - despite you cucking us many times. and I hope it continues (despite us cucking you recently vis a vis trump dossier and tapped trump tower)
