Is being proud of latino ancestry in the US the same as say, being proud of sweden acenstry?

No because our Swedes don't create their own Swedish ghettos and proclaim allegiance to Sweden. This is why nobody likes latinos in the US, because they're never "American" they will always see themselves as X nationality no matter how long they've been here

Being proud of sweden ancestry would be white pride and that would be racist.

>MY MONOLINGUAL ASS IS ON FIRE

I doubt someone can be proud of being wh*te

>This is why nobody likes latinos in the US, because they're never "American" they will always see themselves as X nationality no matter how long they've been here

I thought this was were the "am half germain half irish" meme came from? sure that mindset was a thing in america before the latino ghettos

Like, I haven't seen any other posters to claim unironically that their ancestry represents their national identity, this behaviour is typical in americans in the internet in my experience

''Tacos de hamburguesa''

Nice epic strawman, I like it

No matter how many mutts talk about their heritage they don't LITERALLY see themselves as irish or whatever. No one will put ireland before the US because they have irish heritage. Latinos (at least, Mexicans) are not the same. There are people of Mexican heritage that have been living here for generations and don't see themselves as American. I'm trying to express this in the clearest way possible
