Standard English is RP, which is a form of the southern dialect. There is no pronunciation of the r in a final position after a vowel.

american english outside of new england is dogshit, for some reason the midwestern dialect has just exploded and become the standard american when it's objectively the most hideous variety of english spoken outside of Liverpool. it's even worse when you consider how many GOOD accents there are/were in america.
