working at McDonald's isn't a job, it's shit you put up with until you get an actual job or enough for an education.
the turn over rate is around 80% there, everyone knows how shit it is.
You have no fucking excuse to work at mcdonalds past being a teenager. You don't even need a college degree to get a $15/hr job.
That's not the reality, go to American retail and college-age kids are a minority. The majority of people working as greeters, cashiers, or burger flippers are boomers and gen-xers who are down on their luck and burnt all their other bridges career-wise.
