HARDEST WORKING COUNTRIES

Greeks, Indians, Koreans and South Africans are about three to four times more likely to work 60 hours a week than Americans.

I am Greek...

>two people in Greece actually working
Sample size too small, not conclusive.

This is dumb
1) more than 60 hours instead of just "hours per week", makes no distinction between 100 hrs and 61 hrs
2) Share of employed makes no distinction for all those people sitting on their ass (unemployed).

So lets say only 5 guys in all of Turkey have a job. Everyone else sits on their ass. 4 of those 5 guys work 1 minute a week, 1 of those 5 guys works 60 hours and 1 second a week.
Meanwhile EVERYONE in UK all have jobs, ALL work 59 hours and 59 seconds, with 5% (millions and millions of people) working 100 hours a week if not more. 168 hours, they don't even sleep.

According to this chart logic.....Turkey is harder working than UK. Hmmmmmm BULLSHIT!!!! Do median or average hours per week!!

More like dumbest workers

It's all about quality and not quantity.

still useful when there are huge stereotypes

What huge stereotype? That employed Turks work < 60 hours a week? Well sorry TOOTS, but that chart still proves that employed Turks work < 60 hours a week, only a minority of Turks work > 60. Most TUrks work < 60. So even in bizarro world where we have such insanely specific stereotypes, doesn't prove nothing. Maybe go a step more specific and say the stereotype is that "only 19% of Turks work over 60 hours per week". Well in that case you pwned me.

When people refer to Greeks being "lazy" they usually mean that Greeks dont have jobs at all (imho its unfair but thats what they are referring to, see ) . This chart excludes unemployed. So even for broad shit like "Greeks are lazy" isnt helped.

People in these countries also earn a lot less so they have to work longer hours to survive and unemployment is higher there.

This is also why America's unemployment numbers look so low. More people have jobs of 40 hours a week or less.

>More people have jobs of 40 hours a week or less.

That seems to be not correct. Many there even have to hold 2 jobs to pay off their debts.
It's America.

>In fact, the average 42.8 work week in Mexico is about a full workday longer than the average U.S. worker's 34.4 hours work week.

>The U.S. ranks 17 out of 38 countries in terms of average hours worked each year, according to the OECD, while Mexico, where labor laws cap the work week at 48 hours, ranks no. 1. Workers in Costa Rica and South Korea work the second and third longest hours, respectively.

I meant there are people unironically thinking 30% of Japanese work more than 60 hours per week

I work a comfy 35 hours a week(6days of work). Meaning that I usually can go to sleep at midnight and still get my 10 hours of sleep everyday.

6 day of work sound rotten. 1 day weekend every week? Damn.

"Wooo time for the weekend!"
"WUPPs its over"
--every week for

It's alright, I've got plenty of time during the week to do whatever the hell I want

Oh yeah I forgot that very specific stereotype of "30% of Japanese work 60 hours a week". Phew.

That's not the norm

I'm an American and I work 0 hours its called being a full time NEET.

>being at work means you're working

pathetic german damage control

>T*rkey
>working 60+ hours

Well, I try to imagine what that looks like...
>open the window of you shop
>chat with neighbours
>sit down and smoke hookah
>now and then sell some stuff
>after 14 hours sitting, chating and smoking go home
>repeat

only whites can afford being lazy
in poorer countries you will just get replaced

Greece f.e. has no welfare and everyone could be replaced by another person who looks for a job.

There aren't just shop owners in Turkey. Whites don't want to understand that there are more manual jobs in poorer countries.

>latin americans working more
this has to be fake

>a highly skilled PhD in Applied math working as Head Scientist of a research company and has been with the same company for 20 years can be replaced by another person who looks for a job

There aren't many skilled PhD in applied math working head scientists who worked in a research company for 20 years in the world.

i hate whites so much

Success breeds jealousy.

I meant japan has a stereotype of imperative crazy work culture. “thinking 30% of Japanese work more than 60 hours per week” is just an example

sorry for my poor Engrish but is it really that hard to understand?

and Greeks breed your women

>tfw 45 working hours
>5 of them are reserved for taking meal/smoking/eating/do whatever the fuck you want
And they pay you twice if you work overtime.

>In the video, Stu chronicles one typical week of work during the financial services industry's busy season, which runs from January to March.
>Each day, after just a few hours of sleep, Stu races to work. He stays on the job for an average of 13 hours, typically emerging from the office after 11:00 p.m. to make a frantic dash for the final train home. Then he does it again, and again.
>The final tally over a six day period: 78 hours of work and 35 hours of sleep.
>Stu is living the life of a typical Japanese "salaryman," or office worker.

Work smart, not hard.

Not a response, Osman

I get paid extra to work night shifts and double for Sundays and public holidays and double for emergency calls. On average I work 60-70 hours a week and get paid around €6000 a month after taxes.

>a month after taxes.
How much are your taxes, if I may ask?

Working hard is one thing, but actually being competent and efficient at it is another, and it might be what actually matters

The work is not a wolf - it will not run away to the forest.

The German man is so efficient that showers with a hose, even when it is cold to save water and energy, plus he showers with all of his nuclear family for no having to use the hose again, then he dress up and goes to work by foot or bycicle so he doesn't wake up the refugees by the street.
After his 8 hours of daily work, he isn't tired, because he learned how to be efficient at not tiring up! He then goes to his house, has an efficient dinner with his efficient kids and, after their efficient kids have gone to sleep with efficiency at a maximum, he has efficient sex with her efficient wife ( they last 2 efficiently spent minutes)

no it's not. It's just a way to show how fucking unproductive we are in comparison
