Italy was colder than I expected

It's probably because of the Alpine region
Russia sucks at literally everything.
wow look at lesotho. our lost brethren
can you see how long is shitaly?
Even Venezuela has a ski resort
yeah, but they are not our lost brethren
That map doesn't look right
no, russia is great
and the appenines too.
Foreigners think the whole country is like Sicily
What a retarded map. For countries above the size of Macedonia, there's pretty great temperature differences across the lands. There's super hot places in China, and pretty hot places in southern Japan. Not even gonna mention Chile.
Aaaaaaah it's too HOT!!!!
That's why it says 'average'
Chile is white and based
still pointless though
That's why it's retarded and only works for super small countries. Classifying countries the size of Russia, China or the US, which have nearly every possible climate, into one single range of temperatures, is retarded. Climate knows no borders.
>UK average below 10
So miserable, at least it's nicer in the south where I am. At least it makes lovely lush countryside
The more East you go, the colder it is. That's why Spain is warmer than Italy.
>SHITALY HURR DURR LAZY NIGGERS UNDER THE SUN
>not realizing that 77% of Italy is made of hills or mountains and the only large plain is in the north
Why don't you study or travel more, shits?
Average takes into account the big alpine region.
Much better and less retarded map
it should be colored based on region not country
atlantic spain is as cold as france or germany, and southern USA is nearly as hot as mexico
We have the Appennines too, retard
This is definitely wrong
this reminds me of the australian turk
he used to post a satelite map of turkey in winter and covered the Aegean part with a picture of anzu because there was no snow
he bought a pass to spam pictures of white turkish girls in random threads
Appenines are shit tier mountains
>highest point under 3,000 masl
>hottugal
Varg lives in dark blue region?
>cette tâche sur la petite couronne
C'est l'influence Africaine sur Paris qui augmente les températures comme ça?
Aussi c'est quoi le putain de glaçon au nord de l'Hérault?
Have you been there in winter? NO. Then you don't know how low is the temperature.
(Entire villages get depopulated in the cold season).
France is such a lucky country with all your different climates, like a mini USA
Spain has thee Pyrenees, the Sierra Nevada and Spain is the most mountainous country in Europe. retard.
Actually, the only time I went to Italy, was in late January.
There's literally just three climates in France: oceanic, mediterranean and high mountain.
Switzerland is actually more mountainous but yeah.
Rome, Pisa and Venice were hot as fuck every time i went there, your whole country IS like sicily
why is that one region so cold, is there a mountain there or something
>below 0
No
Pollution helds the warm.
Well yeah that's still nice, compare it to uk which is just oceanic except for some smallish areas
Sicily as a Mediterranean climate, Venice is more continental (cold, rainy winters and hot, humid summers)
>There's literally just three climates in France: oceanic, mediterranean and high mountain.
Continental climate in the East too.
I'm a appenine boy and we've got the best climate in italy
Italy is colder because every point is exposed to the sea, and near the sea the temperature goes down very rapidly in autumn and winter. Countries like Spain are very hot because they look like the Nevada desert.
>Rome, Pisa and Venice were hot as fuck every time i went there
You're from Norway, you suffer high temperatures more. But in winter Venice goes even -5°
Just compare temperatures in South-tyroll to Sierra Nevada
has*
Well you have Gibraltar for Mediterranean climate :^)
Ok I know it's technically not the UK but still
...
Because see
I didn't notice any difference, I was fucking dying from the heat both in palerno and venice. Seemed exactly the same
And benidorm ;)
Yeah we do have some nice bits like the scilly isles still, pic related, just a shame that if we wanted proper heat or mountains or whatever then we have to go to a different country
>tfw you live on the border to italy but still in a scandinavian type of climate
No, there's no continental weather in France. At the latitude of Strasbourg, in would be consistently -20C in winter if it was continental. It's less oceanic than Le Havre, but still not continenta. Inner Russia, now that's continental.
>Spain looks like the Nevada Desert
Ever been to Spain?
>Italy was colder than I expected
Because Shitaly has its head in the freezer and its feet in the cooker
>fucking all mountains and coastline peninsula
did you even do elementary school? Don't you do geography what the fuck.
Why do you have to be braindeadwojak.png even in this simple conversation?
The reference was to your inland scorching areas, not the whole Spain. And yes, I have been to.
No they don't, it's clear.
Okay dude, but Venice, Bologna, Florence, Turin and Milan go under the 0 in winter.
The same for those who think Spain is just some villages/cities of the Mediterranean coast
Semi continental in the East.
The same for those who think Portugal is just a towel
The same for those who think nobody lives on the Apennines (assuming they even know we have them).
what about this little spot right here?
>the same for those who think nobody lives on the Apennines
nodoby lives there desu
You're fucking retarded
pic related is the view from my window, >biggest country in western europe
>only having 1 type of climate
dumbass
the dumb thing about these representations is that nearly no one lives in the coldest areas of russia or canada.
if you look at population density of canada, its all close to the frontier, and mainly in the east part. in russia its mainly near europe (Moscow, St Petersburg)
and as you can see its a better temperature
Start using it.
>only having 1 type of climate
Who said that, retard? My point is that if you have a thin country where even the inland towns are relatively close to the sea, you get very low temperatures, because the sea in winter is FUCKING COLD. Your country looks more like a land mass and places at the centre of Spain have a hotter climate.
What does this have to do with population density? Also Siberia has nearly 40 million people
You can see that Moscow and SPB still have the same temperarure as Finland
Post the uv rays map. What good is being colder on average if you literally live in the place with the highest uv rays exposure on earth? I'm talking about southern andean south America, that's why most of them are copper colored
t. montanaro terremotato furente
Summer is actually worse in the north
t. frocio di merda che si infila gli evidenziatori nel culo guardando loliporn coi cazzi brutali
delusione totale
The pic I posted is of Madrid. Hardly anything in Spain gets more inland than Madrid. The only desertic areas are found in Almería, and some patches of Aragon and Murcia.
>>biggest country in western europe
France is bigger :^)
>Almería, and some patches of Aragon and Murcia
That's what I was thinking about
>France is bigger :^)
o shit its true
if only we had portugal...
red circles are the main deserts of Spain. they're officially classified as "semi-arid"
also its technically in africa, but there was a great tourism advert about the canary islands showing off the different climates and landscapes
youtube.com
Omg are you still carrying on the discussion? Does the comparison with Nevada really hurt you that much?
yes it does.
I'm sorry Spainbro. You know I didn't want to hurt you cause we're similar.
