I have the urge to just take him for a ride and leave him in some random part of town, but he likely knows it like the back of his hand so there'd be no point.

Doesn't matter if you have a camera or not, people stare at laowai. The ones from a more rural background are more likely to stare, and kids on school trips from smaller cities WILL shout "Ah a foreigner!" and use all of their English knowledge on you.
t. laowai
>tfw i got stared at by a employee of a noodle shop the whole time i was eating there.
I like China tho
Ireland is pretty shit for tourism, i should've gone somewhere else.
This is Malahide castle, located in a enormous park near the coast
wow those tables are shitty
Same in India, I don't know why because they were literally colonised by the British for 200 years and a few hundred million of them actually speak English outright so it doesn't make any sense. I took pic rel in Kashmir

Even in Hangzhou where there's many times more foreigners than Harbin, I still get stared at on a regular basis.
It's going to be because for lower class people in rural areas, the only places they've seen foreigners is on TV and internet. It's going to be so amazing to see something you've seen on the internet for many years actually in real life.
I'd love to visit India at some point but I can't see myself having the time or money to do it any time soon.
I can post my north korean pics if you want but I've done that several times on Jow Forums. I went with a Chinese tour company a few years ago

North Korean side of the DMZ. None of the South Korean tourists are allowed to do anything fun whatsoever because the authorities are scared they'll start a nuclear war but the North Koreans don't give two fucks because you've already paid them to be there so you can walk up to the SK guards and pull funny faces and stuff
Really like how restaurants are in every street. Always food nearby and at good prices.
