These would be funny exaggerations to a normal person, but an uneducated American has no reason to believe that these aren't 100% truthful observations
It's also compounded by the latent belief in every American that Europe is or should be a heavenly white ancestral motherland
Therefore they feel completely justified in repeating these memes and constantly and obsessively bashing them over the heads of Europeans
So when, instead of gratefully lapping up their 'advice', Europeans turn around and call them ugly fat goblin mutts and point out that their country is far more of a non-white shithole than Europe, they are genuinely shocked and outraged

I was in London earlier this month, and it's literally "American everything everywhere".
American restaurants, American import shops, a million KFC knockoffs. The two big plays going on were Chicago and Motown. There was a giant billboard of Post Malone outside of the train station. I went to a pub on karaoke night and the whole place was singing New York, New York. I even ran into a couple of British Guys on the train wearing MAGA hats.
