>One chance to fix the Korea problem >NK shows some good will, makes promises >Retarded advisors John 'pedostache' Bolton starts comparing NK to Libya which the US assassinated >Mike Pence says NK will end up like Libya, too >Trump cancels meetings
Is this the stupidest president in your lifetime? he certainly is for me.
this is all pence's fault. he let it slip NK were the ones who reached out to the US first. stupid mistake
Michael Lewis
He will be reelected in 2020.
Isaac Sullivan
>East Asia Peace Summit >no amrerilards >South Korea swaps the US troops and DMZ army with the French army >neutral player >North Korea calms down >denuclearization >conversion to a capitalist system with Korean characteristics >cheap labor, natural ressources, tourism, crossroads of East Asia >economic boom >federal Korea
Caleb Sanders
I agree. While I think caution with North Korea was warranted since the whole peace and disarmament thing kinda came out of nowhere and we weren't sure if ulterior motives at play it was best to just kinda roll with it until and watch how things progressed. This sudden aggression on the part of the US was unprovoked as far as I am concerned and is quite troubling.
Michael Ramirez
>conversion to a capitalist system with Korean characteristics This is going full force, dude. Didn't you know?
Hudson Nelson
China and Vietnam did it. NK already has private markets. Don't see what's gonna stop it
>invites the French into Korea >french immediately starts bringing in millions of africans and arabs >koreas now New Africa: Asia Edition, Pyongyang renamed to Paris 2.0 >surrenders for no particular reason >both koreas destroyed, peace on the continent
I can understand why people wouldn't like ways in which US handled the past couple weeks but why are people omitting things NK did and misconstruing what the "Libya model" is? jk I know why, but try not to be so biased that you are being a dictator apologist.
Btw, Kim canceled talks with Korea before this and blew off Pompeo preceding this as well as threatened nukes again in response to Pence. Still fair game to criticize US but stop treating NK like victim good boys.
Sebastian Ramirez
That's capitalism and I'm also mean it. NK started reforms many years ago and thing are going pretty smooth so far.
Im just hoping Norks ball up and invade worst korea , I wanna see yankee goys high tail it the fuck out of there.
Samuel Taylor
We could probably recapture North Korea. We failed to take it last time because the Chinese got involved and significantly complicated matters. Back then we didn't want to get dragged into full scale war with China, which MacArthur nearly did.
To this day I'd say full scale war with China is a bad idea. Could we win it? Probably, but with tremendous losses on both sides, even if it never went nuclear. There's no good reason for such a war.
Nicholas Edwards
I just hope Moon gets elected again, so they get more time to try settling this peacefully. Of course it depends on the American president too, but if right-wingers rule SK there's zero chance they will make any progress.
Ryder Wood
so transparent
Sebastian Perry
>not realizing he is playing the iron fist part of his negotiating tactics with Kim >not understanding NK will recognize Trump is not to be trifiled with and will come back to the table >thinking Bolton is anything but a plant to keep the neocons quiet for the rest of Trumps 2 terms
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RUSSIAAAAAA. THEY WILL PAY WITH THEIR BLOOD FOR THIS TREACHERY
Aaron White
>MUH 78D CHESS
Shut the fuck up you retarded faggot. At least we have an excuse for being retarded, you evidently sought it out willingly.
Also, and I cannot emphasis this enough, TRUMP DID NOT WRITE ART OF THE DEAL. As evidenced by Twitter he cannot even capitalize correctly. An actual journalist named Tony Schwartz had to write it and articulate it for him.
Idiot
Brayden Campbell
Yes but it might just work
Christopher Brooks
And Tony then talked out many things about DRUMPF which were pretty interesting.
Luke Gutierrez
>Kim Which one?
These are the first Fatty 3 talks
Parker Cruz
The good thing, if you can call it good, about Trump is that he has an almost sort of ADHD kinda thing when it comes to major issues.
Like for instance the hot issue of today is Korea, but tomorrow this shit will be forgotten and he will be blowing up a new controversy on twitter. Tomorrow will be all about immigrants, the day after will be something about abortion, after that'll it'll be guns. Every day it's a different issue in the spotlight and because of that the half-life of people actually caring about an issue is very short so short in fact that very seldom is anything productive done or legislation passed. He'll be hot headed about Korea today but tomorrow it'll be over and nothing will have been done. If Kim keeps a cool head and doesn't take the bait then things will probably be alright. Unfortunately, he hasn't been known to do that in the past.
>mfw Russia has be doing this for LITERALLY 80 years >mfw they did the exact same thing they are being accused of in Estonia and Ukraine in the last 10 or so years >mfw conservitards just cannot fathom why Russia would want a sympathetic retard at the helm of their archenemy
During the Cold War, conservitards could be counted on to be hostile to Russian threats, if nothing else. Now you can't even do that
Anthony Nguyen
>and misconstruing what the "Libya model"
No Pence made it explicitly clear what that meant.
>“As a person involved in the U.S. affairs, I cannot suppress my surprise at such ignorant and stupid remarks gushing out from the mouth of the U.S. vice president,” Choe Son Hui, a North Korean vice foreign minister, had said hours earlier.
>The remarks came after Pence brought up Libya as an example of North Korea’s possible fate in a Fox News interview Monday, even though similar comments by Trump’s national security adviser, John Bolton, and Trump himself had previously drawn ire in Pyongyang.
>“As the president made clear, this will only end like the Libyan model ended if Kim Jong Un doesn’t make a deal,” Pence told Fox News. Using almost the same words, Trump stressed last week that the example of Libya showed “what will take place if we don’t make a deal.”
Oliver Perez
>banter a Trumpanzee >he starts sperging out and acting autistic in a misguided attempt to somehow make YOU appear autistic
haha DRUMPHF 2 SCOOPS normans roooooooooooooooooooooooo Am I doing it right?
Replace french army with united EU army and you've got yourself a deal.
Anthony Flores
>implying NK ever left the table
Trump was supposed to have a meeting with Kim. Trump cancelled. Not Kim. Negotiations haven't broke down with North Korea because there haven't been negotiations.
Matthew Harris
Honestly, they don't want a peace. Trump brags about how much money he'd spent on the military "712 billions to the complex this year" in the speech where he cancels the meeting.
Jaxson Davis
Is this how you act when someone redpills you ?
Lucas Smith
I want peace. It's just my idiot government that tries to keep going to war with everyone.
Robert Thompson
>retard elected by retarded voters to represent a retarded party controlled by a retarded russian oligarch does retarded things
>>NK shows some good will, makes promises NK had already been threatening that they would cancel the meeting themselves before the libya comments.
Lucas Hill
This one, I said "Korea talks"
Bolton only talked about Libya Model, which is denuclearization only, Trump said that the plan is to keep Kim in power as part of the deal and that it would end up like how the Libya Model did if he doesn't hold his end of the deal. Pence reinforced it, and it was while Kim was already becoming aggressive again(which is fair), canceling talks with SK and blowing off Trump admin shortly before the decision. They probably felt they were beating NK to the punch.
Hudson Walker
He absolutely does, he knows the significance of normalizing NK and it would go down as one of the greatest things a pres pulled off, of course he wants that. He even canceled yearly SK/US military exercises at Kim's behest even though Kim previously agreed they can continue, and the coin he made.
He still wants Kim to come back to the table, I think this is just a hitch in the process, it's not over yet.
Jonathan Bennett
You wait for us to take action, and parrot the talking points of our media. What part of your opinion matters?
Angel Sanchez
No reelection in shitkorea
Leo Thompson
Who is Korea?
Owen Cooper
But Gaddafi did hold up his part of the deal. And he got beheaded.
Jaxon Johnson
That doesn't contradict what I said, and it was French/British led btw.
Hudson Foster
shit, then I hope he has some good successor within his party.
Yes. He should never have taken office. But as things were going, cucking NK for cheap polemic is beyond stupid. Pence is no better indeed. Historic opportunities wasted like so many poor stock options. The man is trying to play nations and doesn't show any sign of understanding the seriousness of his position. He acts like a child.
Cameron Lopez
>T. Kremlinposter
Samuel Evans
We saved the proud autonomy and identity of the North Korean people, preventing them from becoming bootlicking dogs like the South. No need to thank us.
I feel really bad for having shilled for him so bad a year ago. He really is a fucking retard. I mean Clinton would have been shit too, but at least she would have done somewhat stable politics and not just dicking around like a 13 yo with his first testosteron like Trump does.
Blake Sanchez
Considering how many people who worked by Trump's side have ended up saying that he's mentally unhinged in private, I'd say that it's not surprising that his policies reflect the thought process of a child.
Connor Stewart
Trump is good for the world. America need to fuck up everything and just shut the fuck up.
meeting a literal criminal wasn't a good idea in the first place. Hope Trump doesn't make mistakes like those of Obonga and fucking destroys every filthy dictator BTW america did nothing wrong in Libya
Michael Morales
>america did nothing wrong in Libya Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaximum cuck.

By the way, news just announced that NK still wants the summit, I'm gonna wait for all the threads of people backtracking all the shittalking any minute. In the meantime >He still wants Kim to come back to the table, I think this is just a hitch in the process, it's not over yet.
Tyler Morgan
Best part is I've already seen how anti-Trumpers are framing it, I just know literally any single outcome is gonna be used against him.
Josiah Wilson
>being that high on state department propaganda I don't like russians but I like my continent being flooded with africans just because the US had a hateboner for Gaddafi for over 40 years and the French get assmad to high heavens over Italy having close partners in Africa even less.
It was an NPR reporter, a publicly funded outlet mind you, where she retweeted someone saying "Trump is so bad he is making NK and Iran look like rational actors".
These same people were angry that he wanted to do talks in the first place, then so angry because he canceled them, now angry that it's back on.
Hudson Miller
I'm not a libtard nor I ever support anything leftist NPR said, but NK is actually extremely rational, unironically. Maybe not in the way we'd like though and maybe you couldn't call it a rationality of a first degree, but hey this is the best NK researcher on this planet youtube.com/watch?v=417kBcy9mSI
Colton Richardson
trump isn't stupid but he's manipulating you both by pretending like he's using some kind of 'negotiating tactic' by pretending to cancel the meeting. do you realize how obvious and retarded that sounds or are you retarded. there's nothing remarkable or skilled in such an obvious 'tactic'. it was probably even agreed and coordinated by both parties just to make it seem less like america is in a weaker position
John Murphy
How so? I don't think canceling the Summit was a big deal either way, people like YOU and his critics did.
Jaxon Flores
because you and people like you think him pretending to cancel the meeting was some sort of genius 'art of the deal' negotiation strategy. if a bunch of politically unrefined idiots would figure that, what makes those same idiots think actually politically savvy people wouldn't figure the same thing and counter it
>>because you and people like you think him pretending to cancel the meeting was some sort of genius 'art of the deal' negotiation strategy. Not at all, I think it was necessary after the last tense couple weeks. Thinks needed to be looking up first before coming to the table. He wasn't even pretending, he expressed that he still wanted the talks to proceed in that same letter. Anti-Trumpers on the other hand jumped to extremes over it.
Dylan White
I think he pulled out because he didn’t want us to be the ones sucking up to Kim. We already canceled our military drills because it pissed him off prior to the meeting. Yeah we want a meeting, but so do they. They will have to do it on our terms.
so you think he wasn't pretending to cancel the meeting and actually wanted to cancel the meeting but yet he wanted the meeting to still happen. that's contradictory. on the other hand, it would be understandable for him not to want the meeting because why would america pretend to cancel a meeting over a deal if the deal would potentially benefit america. so it's obvious that north korea has the upper hand in the potential meeting. also nobody is 'anti-trump' here, it's just that trumptards don't know anything about politics and are annoying as shit when they post their retarded opinions
Austin Myers
He just needs to get rid of the piece of shit John Bolton in the back, who is vehemently for sending men to fight wars but dodge drafts.
Trump isn't as big a hawk and I can respect his decision to dodge the draft, but Bolton supported wars he fucking dodged.
I love how South Korea's president kept sucking up to Trump out of sheer terror over the possibility of America starting a war, only to realize it's probably inevitable and that whole peninsula is utterly fucked.
He had to cancel the meeting because Kim threatened nukes yesterday and called Pence an idiot. Who is the retard here? Who goes into such an important historic meeting fresh after all that? Even despite all that Trump did what was necessary but still expressed hope that peace would continue. Stop being so transparent, take the L.
Jacob Lopez
>>South Korea swaps the US troops and DMZ army with the French army No thanks, Even the frog are weaker than the South Korean troops.
Connor Jones
that's just normal diplomacy you retard. it would look ungrateful and pompous if south korea's president didn't acknowledge america's support
Daniel Green
We aren’t going to go to war
Ian Perez
even if they did make that sort of threat, it wasn't for no reason. pence and bolton both threatened to kill kim, ahead of the meeting. so is america's current administration just retarded then or what. if all the sabre-rattling from trump's admin are just attempts to gain an upper hand then why wouldn't you assume that it's the same thing for north korea's side. you're clearly just biased and completely out of your element here. kill yourself
Austin Evans
It was a smart move. NK was building up all the momentum, such as making demands about the US cutting off joint military exercises with SK. It was the US's meeting to lose, it seemed, and NK was exploiting that. NK had even gone so far as to threaten to launch a nuclear attack against the US, going back to their old ways, and undermining their recent statements about desiring peace and denuclearisation. Calling off the meeting puts the power back in the US's hands and signals that they're not just going to be taken advantage of in their desperation to seek peace. The ball's now in NK's court to make amends and approach the meeting (which will happen, if not on the same date, but eventually) with a genuine attempt at harmonisation.
People seem to quickly forget that it was Trump in the first place who got this meeting, and the talks with the South, in motion. If we had Clinton in charge, the two would be back at their old ways with no attempts at reconciliation, and the North continuing to develop its arms capabilities. And Hilldog would probably have tried to do to NK as she did to Libya, and brag about it.
Ayden Howard
>Trump got this meeting people actually believe this wow
