If I lived in a country which didn't have such a shortage of doctors, then I suppose I would. Though, with the aging population, practically every Western country is going to have a shortage of doctors soon enough. So basically it's all fucked.

Most people don't even have a family doctor, and getting one can be almost impossible. It's not all too difficult to book an appointment with a general MD, but that's completely pointless if he's not a family doctor who can actually track your year-to-year progress.
