The self-hate on brazilian Jow Forums posters come from a lot of different reasons, but it's mostly because of the narrow-mindness of the average person who browses here with the culture that we export to the world, allied with a history of depending of other countries.
My opinion is that most of the problems with our country come from the general need of feeling “outside of the rule”, basically the root of our mongrel complex. The fact that we never created a true national identity has a lot to do with it, also.
