J'avais pensé que la stéreotype de la norriture française était la baguette
Une crêpe ou un croissant, peut-être ça marcherait aussi. De plus, l'escargot et les grenouilles. En fait les grenouilles sont souvent l'appelation pour les français.

>Belgium
fries, waffles
>Portugal

Just no

What then? Frog legs? Snails?

Mate, that fried fish was literally introduced to England by Portuguese jews. Next you're going to tell me about tea.

Also, the UK eats very little fish per capita. Even the US eat more. We're number two in Europe after Iceland.

Mon cher ami américain, la baguette n'est pas un plat traditionnel. C'est plus un aliment de base.
Je crois que les asiatiques mangent plus de grenouilles que les français.

Not a dish, just one ingredient. Tarte tatin master race

probably pelmeni or pirozhki
i mean there's a lot of stuff but most of it isnt famous

Actually by sephardic jews, from Spain and Portugal. Fried fish all around iberia is order of magnitudes better than the plain fish and chips from UK.

>Actually by sephardic jews, from Spain and Portugal.
Yes, Spain as well. It's interesting that we don't think of Spain as a fish-eating country because you guys eat a bit less than us, but you're still on the top 3 or 4 in Europe. The UK and Ireland don't at all, it's very very weird for island countries.

Isn't tempura a portuguese words (or comes from it?). Fried things are an iberian specialty

Yes, it came from têmpero or something like that meaning seasoning. Nowadays we call them "peixinhos da horta" or "little garden fishes"

India's "vindaloo" is also something they adapted from "Vinha d'alhos" which is alcohol/garlic-conserved meat, and their curry is made from American peppers that we brought over - they used black/white pepper before.

Also churros is contested between Spain and Portugal, afaik.

Portugal for "burger/sandwich tier" are Bifanas (no Pão). Depois prego no pão. E Sandes de Leitão.
>Small beef or pork steaks in a roll (pregos or bifanas, respectively) are popular snacks, often served at beer halls with a large mug of beer.

Attached: bifana.jpg (754x394, 35K)

That's adapted from a french dish, though, hence the name.

It's also well good, but a bit meme-y. Can't replace a good serrabulho or cosido if they're well don.

That's regional and can't take outside a dish.

This is the true answer. Based bifanas.

Sandes de Leitão as well, if you're from the Beiras.

Waffles and fries, dunno, crepes, various sausage related dishes, Austria or Australia?

Russia is so big, we have everything! Did you know we have B O R S C H T?

Le burger est l'aliment de base américain. Que les français ne mangent pas autant de grenouilles que leurs homologues asiatiques ne sert à rien, c'est bien une stéréotype maintenant.

Australia
Stéréotype venant de l'étendard Franc.

You motherfucker now I'm hungry!

I love bread so much. I wish I could eat it constantly with no ill effects.
