the most common last name in Lithuania is Kazlauskas which comes directly from polish Kozłowski
desu our surnames would sound pretty cringy if translated back to Lithuanian.
>Vasiliauskas
>Urbonas
>Kavaliauskas
>Stankevičius
>Jankauskas
>Paulauskas
TOP 6 surnames in Lithuania. Now back off and don't smear Lithuania with your shitty nationality.
>Vasiliauskas
Wasilewski
>Stankevičius
Stankiewicz
>Jankauskas
Jankowski
>Paulauskas
Pawłowski
all of them are common polish last names
>People have foreign names because Church clergy was dominated by Polacks when surnames appeared
Wow what a twist. Half of Latvians have German last names, who gives a shit.
>what is hundreds of centuries shared culture
Of course there was race mixing among Lithuanians and Polish slavs. Nothing surprising here that we have shared surnames.
Based retardbro.
it's you guys who are sperging out if anyone mentions that lithuania is indeed connected to poland
Are you historically inept or you don't know how surnames appeared here?
polan-lithuanian empire when?
any vilnius man in?
Can you explain, please? Genuinely don't know.
here
ŠIAIP pastaruoju metu weebo nesimato, gal reik pabandyt normalų /balt/ atkurt?
Surnames in early 15th century were restricted nobility, then mass adoption came later in 17th and 18th century by then Catholic church was dominated by Poles, and likewise Lutheran church by Germans in Latvia and the clergy in most cases didn't bother translating or outright giving ethnic surnames. Also keep in mind you inherit surname from your male line, that would mean half of Latvians are Germans or half Lithuanians are Poles. But that isn't the case since these populations don't show very large genetic drift nor do they carry their Y-DNA parental markers to these population considering half of their populations are supposedly descendants from them or mixed with them and received those surnames.
>yra tik vienas weebas
Are Polish-Lithuanian relations like two persons hatefucking each other?
Thank you very much
I would assume poles view them as unassimilated poles, while lithuanians prop up national identity against poles and russians.
when is russia gonna invade the baltics?
nah we just like to bicker at each other
if i had to compare id say lithuania is like tsundere little sister
More like other way around
spotted the shit eater
where is /balt/
They are Żmudzins (Baltoids) larping as Lithuanians. The real Lithuania is Belarus.
Baltic is Finnic

Even "our" king was actually Belarusian
tfw you can't afford to claim your Lithuanian passport

WHITER THAN YOU something-something-auskas
>not risking serious injury to engineer such impulsive technology to enjoy the sunny afternoon
Anyway why would you even want Lithuanian passport? also we don't allow dual citizenships
It really looks like a squashed Africa with those colours and shape.
you have to be fucking retarded to think that the thing they're doing is dangerous. Electricity doesn't magically spread out in a body of water because it doesn't fucking need to. Maybe if you sticked your finger inside and it shorted to ground then it would tickle but nothing more.
I would like to spend some time back in Lithuania, I was speaking to a lawyer and told me that my circumstances allows me to retain both.
What sort of circumstances?
Descent and Exile/Moved prior to 1990
So why do you would you want to spend time here?
Learning the language, its nearly fucking impossible outside of Lithuania, I also want to explore the country a little as well as experience everything I missed out on. My family came from Taurage? I can't remember how it's spelt but it was something like that
Those are Germans though.
I have familylong lost in Vilnius I feel same way.
Oh ok I see that is pretty nice. And yeah it is called Tauragė
Fuck poleshits.
>t. retard
"Żmudzins" or Samogitian is just a dialect of Lithuanian, the other is Aukštaitian...
It is good to know I'm not the only one out there then. Did your family retain your name?
Cheers user, my father made it out there awhile back but didn't get to see a whole lot. A friend of mine, she put me in contact with a Lawyer that could arrange my papers
Ukrainians are basically a Pole-Russian mutt mixed with Tatar filth.
Lithuanians are kind of Half-Polish half Finnish hybrids originally but since the Soviet Union they may have a lot of Russian in them
>Jankowski
I wonder where the Finnish county Juankoski got its name
Lithuanians are half-Polish, half-Russian mongrels larping as belarussians
i don't know.
i'll eat some cheap mini pizzas that taste bad.
I would say that Polish view Lithuanuans like Russians view Polish. We are generally baffled at the fact they hate us because in our mind we are the same people, but deep down we understand that they have their reasons
>this triggers the Lithuanian
good thing I’m immune to anger
>Half-Polish half Finnish hybrids
The masterrace.
>painted on eyebrows

>„kas yra šizofrenija?”
Their language is qt (maybe)

>you will never live in a Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth where half of the country speaks Polish and the other half Lithuanian and both nations make fun of each other but in fact they like each other just like it is in Belgium or Switzerland
O ką tu šiaip Liuksemburge veiki? Dažnokai aš tave čia matau.
god please no, poles are already in conflict with each other
Why would you even want that?
dirbu excelio bezdžione/profesionaliu šitposteriu, bet neužilgo Lietuvon grįšiu
>and the other half Lithuanian
Did you mean Ruthenian?
Because I think it's cute, I want a multicultural state with lots of ethnicities in (of course except for muslims). Sharing cultural experiences is always fun. I like how it is in Switzerland or even in Germany (Bavaria-Prussia).
Lithuanian map looks like mini Africa.
what's your obsession with Ruthenia? Belarus is a meme
Our cultures are similar (due to the same religion), but this doesn't make us Poles. We've been a distinct nation from the beginning.
>Belarus is a meme
so is Lithuania
>t. bigger meme
There's nothing wrong with being a meme nation.
