Too expensive...
Escalade is popular here in Moscow.
Because you get a Mercedes or BMW for the same price...
Master race
because they cost many times more in Europe, both because of tariffs and the fact that GM has little presence in the market since they sold Opel
Cadillacs main advantage is price, typically they cost less than their competitors while being only moderately behind in luxury, and often on equal footing in performance. That sort of appeal doesn't work when the product is more expensive than competitors, and lacks the Americana appeal that classics and pony/muscle cars have in comparison
because yurpoop is more than 56% white
No contest.
But muh cost of ownership.
tariffs you say? sounds a bit unfair
well, they could avoid it by manufacturing in the EU or importing through EU companies like what Ford does with Ford Europe, but GM considers the European market not worth it.
It makes sense, the euro market already has defined filled market niches, there's no real potential for expansion Sion, expecially since many EU companies already depend on German auto companies for jobs and supply.
Caddy also ruined their brand image in the 90s and 2000s. Appealing to the rapper demographic and affordability boosted short-term sales, but that also means they will NEVER get back the reputation of American luxury they had in the 50s, 60s and 70s. American manufacturers don't have a focus on build quality and luxury, so even Cadillac aims at the luxury sport market (see. 3-series, E63, etc.) instead of pure luxury like they were before.
They actually succeeded, cars like the CTS-V and the upcoming CT6 V-sport are really modern, competitive cars, but Cadillac shot themselves in the foot earlier, and need to try even harder than most to climb out of the put they dug in brand image
i have read your comment before
>implying you can afford it
maybe, Ive ranted on Jow Forums before about Cadillac being retarded
on a new note though, apparently Americas trying to put tariffs on European imports too, which makes no sense since quite a few of them have more parts manufacturers domestically than some "American" companies (dodge)
Interior plastics made from recycled soda bottles belong to budget cars, not something you have to shell out pretty penny for.
It costs less than a Cadillac, the base price is 35 000 euro here.
>buying a base Giulia
if you're not buying it for the Ferrari V6, you're doing it for the wrong reasons
They're for blacks
I want to drive this
So what's the problem? It would cost you $2000 in good condition.
I don't have a license kek
And I'm a poor af student. But I will probably get one in a year or so.
tfw you got your licence at 17.
If you hapenned to live in a big city, you just don't need it anyway.
Cadillacs look gross. I also don't want to buy any expensive cars because I'm sure gas guzzling cars will be a thing of the past in a couple years and Tesla is a meme.
