both carry risk, the difference is trezor is physically insecure, so what you receive in the mail could be trivially backdoored by anyone and you wouldn't know, because thy weld it shut because that little bit of plastic is all that protects you.

either get a ledger or get a separate computer and take out its networking cards

data mining to see wallets of biztards.

I want a cold wallet that has an integrated Faraday cage, a frame made of aerospace titanium, and a sapphire screen so I literally could not break it no matter how drunk or angry I get.

This

An option should be a piece of paper in a fireresistant box bolted underneath a desk.

i can read your private keys from your fingerprints.

Is there any proof of anything like this ever happening?

How is it even a question?
Trezor is 100% open source, Ledger has some closed source components.

hardware wallets have a track record of failing, getting lost, breaking, etc.
the safest bet is a software wallet like enjin.

enjoy losing all your bags to a shitty piece of hardware. its almost like you want to stay poor.

>2 digit IQ

you dumbass they have a recovery seed that you can import into any bip39 wallet...

I have them both, including the Trezor Model T that I pre-ordered when it was first announced

I prefer how the Trezor works, but Ledger holds more coins

Trezor Model T is absolute shit. Entering a pin on a tiny little touchscreen is a pain in the ass, and the way the pin was entered on the original is much better.

and software wallets have a track record of getting hacked. Enjoy waking up one day to an empty wallet because there's a keylogger on your pc you don't know about

and if you didn't know hardware wallets have recovery seeds, you're retarded

Trezor. No debate.

This.

Ledger, because I bought one two days before a shortage/preorder and managed to resell it for 3x the price.

>paper

Why not just engrave it onto some metal.
That paper would probably turn black in a fire.
