In an d pokemon demo from decade ago called gold beta, it was in the space event in 1996 or 1997, I don’t remember the date but it was like a anime convention but for games. They had a demo for Gold and it was very early that everything is different. The original map was like all of Japan and the location of the pic I posted was located where Hiroshima is located. Does it look like Hiroshima or that thing in center, does it look like a Hiroshima building?

This shit is from the Spaceworld 1997 demo of Gold and Silver that was recently leaked. Apparently Johto was very, very different back then, as the map spanned the entirety of Japan's main island, not just the small slice of it that it and Kanto do in the final games. (Yeah, Beta!Johto contained Kanto, which meant that one of the towns in Beta!Johto was literally Kanto condensed into one town.)

Apparently there's this theory flying around that one of the towns, containing the beta's version of the Ruins of Alph (and the town used as the OP image) is supposed to be Hiroshima, because it's where Hiroshima is in IRL Japan. There's also a bunch of shit about the Unown being nuclear shadows, and shit like that.

Another thing the theory's centered around is that the building in the center is supposed to be the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. And now OP's toddling around to all these foreign boards, making the rest of /vp/ look like retards, asking if this building looks like the Hiroshima Peace Memorial in broken English.
