Lol

*cringes*

Apparently he's right.
But saying "few" is probably wrong.

>Hassan Pasha, instructed by the Sultan Suleiman, assembled soon an army of 100,000 men among Turks, Algerines and a large number of Janissaries.[3]

*cringes*

In Ottoman Empire only the sultan himself could raise 100.000 men

because there were like 150K soldiers in the whole empire.

the only thing that's for sure is that not a single frenchman helped you lose that battle

Look up "cinque de maio"
I think it's the Mexican national day.
They celebrate a victory against France, 1 mexican beat 10 french soldiers.

in english...

The historical sources on the page fr.wikipedia says otherwise.

Just keep in mind that all misinformation on ENGLISH.wikipedia proves only one thing, the eternal butthurt of the anglo against France.
There are Anglo people losing their time on this, right now, in 2018.

on the islamic side there was 15,000 ground soldiers, and 10,000 cavalry as support.

90% of the troops were Algerian, from local berber tribes/kingdoms. It's not related in any way to France nor the Ottoman.

It was mosly troops from the beni abbas and kuku kigndoms, two seperate entities.
