i met my wife while traveling in india, got some bad diarrhea and couldn't find a toilet. i would ask people where the toilets are and they would just give me directions to the nearest shitting street. so finally i gave up and decided "when in rome, do as the romans do" and as i was squatting to take a shit on the designated street a beautiful brown woman came up beside me and let out the most odorous curry shit ive ever smelled. she dropped it instantly, it shot out of her like a high pressure jet and in one smooth motion it was over and done and her pants were back up, i was impressed at her efficiency. she noticed me struggling to squirt out my feces and she told me that i was having problems because toilets arent natural and cause blockages and hemorrhoids and that this is why it takes white people so long to shit. i laughed and asked for her number so she gave me the technical support number to micorosoft and told me to ask for pajeeta. so a week later i pretended that i was having a hard time logging on to windows so i could give the number a try, sure enough she answered the phone when i requested pajeeta. she joked that i was still having difficulty with passing log on, a reference to my caucasian defecation dilemma. long story short we agreed to meet and got married on top of an elephant a few months later. no shes back with me in canada, but she brought a little of india with her, in that she still goes outside into the backyard to shit in a hole. a bit eccentric but i respect her cultural traditions and some romantic nights i join her outside for a dump and we remember the day we met and make love under the stars with the smell of india in the air.

I work in property and find Indian clients the most difficult to work with. They demand so much time but with do not want to pay for the additional costs of fulfilling these demands. They also seem to have trouble articulating exactly what is they want and tend to take things personally.

Is this a cultural thing? Can you give me any advice on how to deal with these clients. I find telling them what I intend to do rather than giving them options seems to work a little.

I find a lot of issues with Indian mindset. I dont want to get started but just to share an example - Indians get overly influenced by the west. Yes, the west has made great strides in various aspects of life and there is a LOT that Indians can learn but they try to emulate the worst of the west instead of the best.
Indians have a wisely devised culture, they don't have to give that up. What they need to learn from the west are work ethics, integrity etc but they don't!!

India can do great things, not just for itself but for the whole world. We never believed in winning at the cost of others. Imagine if a billion people become wise and committed , what all they can do.

Not saying all Indians are like that but broadly speaking, consciously or sub consciously this is the ailment with the Indian psyche.
