Here we are now, all the lads.

Haven't gone to any of my cousins weddings or met my brothers gfs who they must be with for over 2 years

Attached: 1526468772347.png (258x258, 106K)

I think I can skip out on it without much problem since it's not in the country, it's more the reality that the family expectation on me to meet someone is rising.

>or met my brothers gfs who they must be with for over 2 years
Impressive. How have you avoided meeting them for so long?

>it's more the reality that the family expectation on me to meet someone is rising.
Some of my mother's family didn't get married until they were older than average, so I think I'm going to have to ride out her expectations for at least another decade.

Not for long.

>getting married abroad
I don't get why anyone does this unless one of the couple is from another country. You put enormous pressure on your entire family to get extra time off and unless you're rich enough to buy everyone tickets then you're costing them money. Plus it pretty much guarantees your elderly and feeble relatives won't be risking the travel.
It just seems like a way to piss off all your relatives in exchange for an early honeymoon.

I thought you were the expert on avoiding siblings partners?

You're getting a sex change?

Time for another 12 hours of in the realm of Dream soon.

If you havent started studying at least four months ago youre fucked lad

This is the next piece of paper you'll be filling out
welfare.ie/en/pdf/up1.pdf

I don't think we have any LC students here.

>I don't get why anyone does this unless one of the couple is from another country.
He works in London and is marrying a Canadian. He's from Dublin if that explains things.

That was more common in the old days though. Both of my grandfathers were at least 10 years older than my grandmothers.

I certainly hope we don't

>I thought you were the expert on avoiding siblings partners?
Yeah, but that's more down to the fact that I have virtually no contact with my siblings and never go where they are likely to be.

But it's a bank holiday weekend.

Attached: 1497409027519.jpg (1002x804, 140K)

Are they getting married in England or Canada?

All the more reason to try and finally overcome my failures and get up nice and early!

Attached: 1508435327601.jpg (1024x1364, 923K)

In Canada so I have a good excuse not to attend.

>finally overcome my failures
Will that actually happen?

Attached: 1523021341857.jpg (1300x2300, 330K)

Being a reclusive weirdo

Good lad.

I thought Frogweeb was already trans-species or transethnic?

He's not an amphibian or "French"? Does he even like anime?

Will you spend the bank holiday wisely?

going to make a vow to quit this site

Why?

Probably not.

See you tomorrow.

Wouldn't be a bad idea

Hello.
I love your country.
Oíche mhaith agus aisling ildaite

Attached: s2.jpg (960x720, 35K)

wasting too much of my time
also my browser somehow insists on autocompleting the options field with my company email, and I almost have a heart attack every time I accidentally click on it
normies may be wrong in saying anonymity is always bad or used for nefarious purposes, but by God that thin line is something you do not want to cross
have actually had nightmares about it

you cant trust anyone lads

especially not the below poster

>aisling ildaite
Colourful dreams? That's a new one.

your email wont show up in the options field anymore

having to leave a site entirely would suggest youd just waste your time doing something else, but that would probably be for the best anyway if you have difficulty with self control

Hello, fellow Irish people.

You should go, nobody ever regrets leaving this place.

welp, we say that here
I spent 4 years in your cunt and been there 3 times as a tourist before but I managed to learn only few sentences. It's a hard language.

>your email wont show up in the options field anymore
What do you mean? It just did, I had to delete it.

I also don't understand what you're trying to say about self-control either

I would have nothing to do with my time for large chunks of the weekend without Jow Forums.

Sad if true.

It doesn't display itself on Jow Forums though

If you have to entirely leave a site because you're spending too much time there you might have a problem with self control and would probably just procrastinate doing something else as equally wasteful

It's no lie.

>my browser somehow insists on autocompleting the options field with my company email
Because the options field used to be called the e-mail field and is still counted as one. If you want to get ride of it then highlight it and shift+delete.

He means that even if you did make a post with the e-mail filled in it wouldn't show on the post, it hasn't in years.

>implying anyone ever leaves

Attached: 221.gif (300x100, 96K)

What does Jow Forums offer that other things don't?

Shitposting about things I like.

Skype crew did, mostly.

>It doesn't display itself on Jow Forums though
>even if you did make a post with the e-mail filled in it wouldn't show on the post
So what does it do? Forgive me for seeming like a newfag but I wasn't going to test it out.

I also know that I would probably not procrastinate as hard because it's a virtual equivalent of being put into a room on an equal footing with some very strange and vocal people with the freedom to speak without consequence.
It must be what real life is like to people who only think about sport news and celebrity gossip.

>implying
They returned en masse around the time of the referendum.

My mistake, I thought you meant Jow Forums as a whole.

can't blame them

They showed up just to shitpost

Least there's more users now, if only they'd behave themselves

Everyone leaves, this place is nearly unrecognisable from 5 years ago.

Why not?

it drew in people from all over to see what the weirdos on Jow Forums would say about it

Or even two years ago. The current iteration of /éire/ is less than 2 years old.

>So what does it do?
Sage and nonoko. In the old days you could type something there and it would be visible. Kind of lessened the impact of "X goes in all fields" posting since they removed it.

And the name field, that's still lethal?

>So what does it do? Forgive me for seeming like a newfag but I wasn't going to test it out.
Only a TOTAL newfag would ask for forgiveness

It's very addictive isn't it, what would you most likely fill your time with if you left?

Whatever you type in the name field comes up yes. If your company e-mail is appearing there then you have reason to worry.

>what would you most likely fill your time with if you left?
I might try and find documentaries or audiobooks, if I'm on the computer at all. Otherwise it'd be reading books or something in the long-neglected world of IRL
Maybe if I wasn't flicking over to Jow Forums every three minutes, gaming might be able to hold my attention long enough to be enjoyable.

No, it was just the options field, except for one site which I identified as putting my deets in the name field. Strangely enough using incognito on that site prevents it from being saved for autocomplete, but going on Jow Forums in incognito does nothing to keep the forms from having the autofill suggestions.
Seems like a fatal flaw for "incognito".

Taking a break for a while is always good, I always take breaks from Jow Forums for like a week or a month

It's the only place you're guaranteed a quick reply that is largely unmoderated so if you like that I wouldn't give it up enitrely just dont use it as a past-time

>It's the only place you're guaranteed a quick reply that is largely unmoderated so if you like that I wouldn't give it up enitrely just dont use it as a past-time
Well, yeah, that's the appeal, but the "productive boards" have a much slower response time and the dysfunctionally stupid and aggressive people are much less entertaining there than on the big traffic shitpost boards, which function essentially as pastimes anyway.

Like Jow Forums /v/ and /tv/? I really don't find those appealing but I can see why people think they're fun.

I also include Jow Forums in that

What's so appealing about it? I think the occasional politics or history/culture threads can be very informative or do you just like the country roleplaying banter?

I like how it's more aimless than braindead monomaniacal Jow Forums, that is, that remnant of Jow Forums that isn't just responding to bait threads and edgeposting, but more purposeful than /b/ with a mandate to talk about national culture and issues, and how it gives people some solidarity through the flags. The fact that it's a blue board is also of huge benefit.

That's how I wish /éire/ was like but it's rarely active enough

the anime granny-chat cabal fought its revival tooth and nail

But /éire/ is active 15 hours a day on average.

Anyway, goodnight and hopefully goodbye.

If I marry an O'brien would my kids be considered Anglo or Irish?

I really think the extent of that issue is overstated.

if your surname is not Gaelic, your offspring will be foreign mutts

Good luck lad

Attached: 1527740426774.jpg (600x847, 69K)

They'd probably be Mexican

Alright then, this paddy's bloodline is about to get ANGLO'D

>marrying a man
They'll be whatever you adopt them as.

One of my Dad's adopted kids

Think incels are just a trend lads, bunch of disenfranchised lonely frustrated young men looking for a group, the only difference between them and now is 100 years ago they didn't have accessible porn or the internet so we can actually see them. 100 years ago incels would have been fighting in the Easter Rising tbf.

A year or two they'll have grown out of it, there's always been and always will be incels just they won't be the memelords they are today.

you overlook the fundamental shift (pun not intended) that has taken place in how the sexes relate and how sexual relations are regulated by society

>normies
Do you realize that this is a normalfag word and by using it you out yourself as a piece of shit normalfag, no different to the "normies" you try to distinguish yourself from?
I fucking hate that you people have taken over this site. None of you have a lick of self awareness. Fuck off, outsider.

Do you find that to be a problem, generally or personally?

I thought the Sexual Revolution was a good thing and increased sexual activity? Or are you talking about women being more vocal and independent?

Attached: 1520580596513.jpg (445x549, 143K)

Also the severe gender imbalances in countries like China and India. If the incel mindset takes hold among the disenfranchised men in those countries, it could get very ugly.

>I thought the Sexual Revolution was a good thing and increased sexual activity?
Depends who you ask.

What is undeniably true however is that the sexual revolution empowered women to become far more selective when it comes to sexual partners. Leaving my own personal judgement on that aside, this has produced an environment whereby the majority of women have sexual relations with a smaller pool of the male population.

>If the incel mindset takes hold among the disenfranchised men in those countries, it could get very ugly.
We need a CIA psyops to turn incels into trannys, though that would stabilize the country so the CIA probably wouldn't bother

What do you think are the consequences of that? Apart from people actually being incels of course.

I made OC years ago on KC, for you.
Damn, posting under Irish flag was fun. Been couple years.

Attached: c&a_Irish_faggot.png (280x311, 64K)

Did you move permanently back to Poland?

Yeah. I will visit Ireland though one day, probably more than once, I miss it.
