Beach bitch
I was making fun of mongoloids getting it wrong, it just "off", "off of" is wrong.
I was not talking about how similar they sound.
also, beach and bitch are pronounced differently, I'm guessing you're too young and have little experience with the language, you'll get it as you grow up.
have fun lad.
>that that
>weather, whether
It's not a minimal pair in most languages. Spanish doesn't even contrast ATR (that pair's difference, other than length), don't try to be smug about it.
t. Native English speaker
>had had
Grammatically correct, but it looks so awkward.
>enɡlish no lonɡer has a phonemic /ʍ/
>witch-which and weather-whether are no longer minimal pairs
It hurts bros
>would of
they don't speak spanish in Brazil.
its a different vowel and the t is pronounced
then again i imaged a little latino manlet with a greasy moustache saying it in broken english and they do kind of sound the same in that accent
>ITT all retards that know nothing about english
>eggplant
>fall
>pancake/hotcake
>pineapple
But they do in Argentina, so don't pretend it's natural for you
>I could care less
>American English
what? I never said it came natural to me, are you legitimately this retarded?
in fact I implied otherwise, did you not see the bit where I said "I'm guessing you're too young and have little experience with the language, you'll get it as you grow up"?
>came natural
came naturally.
the usage of "off of" depends on dialect
it's not actually wrong per se
>of "off of"
I unironically detest the English language.
>little latino manlet with a greasy moustache
The chances of a Brazilian posting here fitting that description is null.
doc project #18
It kind of seemed like you were implying it's smething only a child would have problems with.
How are they pronounced?
based, but this thread is full of idiots
Well some just use "offa" instead, autismo. In speech only, though.
go to google translate, make sure it's set on English, write and click what the image says.
I actually didn't do it before because Google Translate is really shit at most times, but turns out it sounds completely different there.
what do you mean it's shit? it's a robot, it literally can't get the pronunciation wrong.
Try listening to it pronounce minor language like Welsh or Icelandic
There are certain instances in which you can use "off of" together though
It's would've
t.Ahmedabad Punjabi Zhang
>english
you don't pronounce the t
wtf
The difference is that the I in bitch sounds closer to (not exactly like) a Spanish E, while the sound of EA in beach sound like a regular spanish I. Same for sheep-ship, sheet-shit or chip-cheap
>Sixths
what a cruel word to pronounce
>kansas
>arkansas
what's your complaint? they're 2 completely different words.
Also if you are a recovering stutterer that might trigger you
off've is the correct pronunciation
Both ways of saying it are completely fine you crayon munching retard
sheet shit
>cringegoblin.jpg
>what are accents
reminds me of this
