Honestly, in my experience almost everyone has this problem. Asked ~40 seniors from my class what they want to do with their life.
To my great surprise, only 4 (including me) had an answer to this.
Have you tried learning surface knowledge about different disciplines? Perhaps physics, or maths, or woodworking, etc will interest you.

Uhm, isn't that the point of combat? You put yourself at risk to try and defeat the enemy. For the record you can still lose your life or suffer from permanent injury in everday living, its just that no one thinks about it much.
