Well, generally you'll need some stem or form that allows piecing words together, like the て form or fully conjugated verbs.

I’ve been studying kanji through Genki till very recently (now I use KKLC) and just memorized the sounds of the kanji and not whether they’re onyomi or kunyomi. I know which to use purely from experience, but doing just that mostly works. Is this a bad approach in the long term?
I think it will be sorted out by itself when you achieve to build knowledge of a thousand of kanjis, as on-yomi have peculiar trait. In short, they sound really like chinese whereas kun-yomi sound really Japanese.

Is KKLC a good replacement for RTK? Also, is dedicated Kanji worth doing instead of vocabulary with kanji?
I haven’t used RTK, but KKLC seems like a direct successor to it. It still has stories, meanings, and an emphasis on learning simpler graphemes to build up to complex kanji, but it also lets you associate each kanji with a word or two, continues with stories throughout, and doesn’t leave you not actually knowing the usage or reading of anything. But you can’t really use the “rush all the kanji in a few months and learn them for real later” approach; it’s a long-term commitment.
I have a couple of questions...
1) I'm going through Core 6000 and I'm finding some verbs that have the same root but different suffixes, like 浮く・浮かぶ・浮かべる or 済む・済ます・済ませる. Where do you have to use which? Is there a rule?
2) I was reading some comments about how a manga wouldn't continue on the west because of some sort of sexual scandal (Rurouni Kenshin IIRC) and one of them said "まんがーか変態にぅだ際". Did the guy writing it have some sort of stroke at the end or is it slang or something, never seen that before.
Nothing rushed about learning all 3000 kanji in only 150 days and then keep on reviewing for the rest of your life.

Depends. Learning vocab will give you immediate gratification and you will be able to read/consume Japanese faster.
Learning kanji will give you a solid foundation, but eat away hundreds of hours. Learning vocab will be way easier after that, but until you start doing it, all the studied kanji will be nothing but stories and scribbles, not even readings to comfort you.
In general I'd say go for kanji study if you have the time and patience to spare, and even so, you can do vocabulary recognition study on the side, it all boils down to whether you have time for it or not.

the rest will make more sense to you when you've gotten a bit more into grammar
1) Check if they are transitive or intransitive.
付く is intransitive
付ける is transitive
First one is "to be attached", the subject will suffer the action of being sticked. Second one is "to attach", so the subject will perform the action of sticking another thing onto something.
There are verb pairs like this in English/Spanish as well, for instance:
Stop. It can both mean to interrupt someone or to be interrupted.
But for most cases you will have to think about it as a verb modified to be intransitive: To eat and "to be eaten".
Also not all verbs have pairs, and there might be more than 2, so don't try to force them into a formula before you're used enough to their presence.
2) No idea.
I was thinking about dedicated Kanji when I get further along with reading as a side thing.
Doing some 2k6k as I work through Japanese the Manga Way until then. That already takes up a decent chunk of my day.

and use 受ける for receive, you're thinking about it a bit too literally
Thanks, I guess I should've made the question more generalized/detailed. It's about the order of adjectives, if you've got multiple no/na/i adjectives, do they have a specific (attributive) order they have to be in?

there are no "no adjectives" per se... they get translated that way, but I wouldn't call them that, because it just causes needless confusion
anyway, for example you'd say 永遠の青い空 and not 青い永遠の空
How much Japanese (reading/listening) can I learn in 6 months if I dedicate 1-3 hours a day? I'm by no means a genius but I did make it through engineering school

Genius has nothing to do with it. Persistence (and ideally experience with learning a foreign language) is what matters.
6 * 30 * 1 | 3 = 180 to 540 hours. That's probably enough to pass N5 (according to the JLEC itself):

Lingodeer is basically Duolingo but actually built for Asian languages. It actually teaches you concepts before you start each lesson.
PAIR it with Anki for vocabulary and it's a solid start. It is a little slow less detailed, so you'll probably want a good grammar guide as well.
What does adding 通し to the stem of a verb do? Context:

Sorry. I assumed you'd understand the definition itself if you had no problems with the rest of the sentence you posted. It pretty much emphasizes the state of the verb (stem) as continuing for a long time. The translation would probably be (how I see it) as:
