It was obvious the day would come. See you at $10 and $0.02
ETH and XRP about to be outlawed in the US
Other urls found in this thread:
So, what would happen if they are classified as unregistered securities?
Literally nobody cares about amerikeks
You don't understand what this means. They won't be outlawed.
Can someone here PLEASE post this on the /ethtrader daily discussion? I am shadowbanned. Would make for some prime keks right now
Trading would be outlawed in the US and those who lunched the coins, ripple labs and My little Autist, would be prosecuted in the US. But I guess they would get the chance to apply to be recognized as securities, after they paid the fine, the fees and waited for half a decade or more to be approved. Basically just the US market would break away and individuals who trade them might face repercussions
>Amerifats think U.S.Gay is the entire world, volume 7
Gtfo
Good fud but I'm sure coinbase did it's homework and are buying the politicians they need right now to ensure this doesn't happen.
Also, how will regulation even exist when the people can just say 'no'?
Writer of this article is Nathaniel popper buttcoin preacher and corecuckscammer
Check his previous work. Just bullshit
And btw XRP is not a security. Check this cockfaggot
It will just affect US exchanges and amerifats
nothing what a VPN or a foreign exchange giving a fuck about US law can't solve. Only issue might be cashing out to dollars again, but I hope till now everybody got that cashing out is stupid either way
Are there even still any americans in crypto market?
HOLY SHIT BUY ETHEREUM CLASSIC!
Raiden network is comming to Ethereum Classic first! Get it while it's hot!
But what happens with etherium is another question.... they printing mad money. Fork here fork there ico here and there boiiis better get some lawyers for vitalik ;)
This thread is dedicated to all of the faggots on this board who argued with me saying that Ripple is not a security. You should have listened.
Corecuckcomments and opinions. Lmao
What about we pull this that way?
XRP would be tradeable on regulated exchanges only. Unregulated exchanges would not allow it. Yet if the SEC were to crack down hard on XRP they would ALSO crack down on all unregulated exchanges, rendering them practically impotent, so the end result wouldn't have substantive impact.
I will use decentralized exchanges and will actively work in the shadows if America decides to retard itself. I'm sure many here are the same.
That won't happen though - things are different now. The old bitcoin whales and new crypto kids have a common enemy, entrenched interests. After meeting many crypto whales, I think the entrenched interests don't stand a chance.
Amerimutts trying to police the world still lmao
Even if they somehow do anything to affect the market, makes me glad I sold my XRP for more REQ and all my ETH is tied up in REQ too. /comfy/ and /safe/ from amerilards regulation
Kek this. I can't believe they're paying taxes on stuff their government didn't help them produce. Did you need those roads to get gains on btc and the alts? 0% tax in Italy I keep every dollar I made when I cash out
Which is why they won't "crack down" and there won't be any prosecutions. That would be retroactive enforcement which the SEC is not interested in. They will give a grace period for ALL exchanges and ALL cryptos to come into compliance - not just ETH and XRP.
When the SEC finally does come out with guidance it's going to be market wide, and ironically companies like Ripple and Stellar with central entities are going to be best suited for complying and will probably moon the hardest after a shaky transition phase.
>obama
>hillary
not surprised this guy wants to start fucking with crypto. anything to keep the poorer folk down and make them rely on you.
Governments think they can control everything. They cannot. Nukes, drugs and crypto are good examples of this
Would this cuck all ERC20 tokens as well? Lmfao
>That would be retroactive enforcement which the SEC is not interested in
>I will use decentralized exchanges
Good user, you learned something
Most probable outcome, and the old rule applies, sell when the rumours start hitting, buy when everybody is in fear, make profit
literally every ico that sold to americans is a security
> thinks he knows what the SEC does
> doesn't know anything
> is a Jow Forums NEET
how does that make them outlawed? it just makes the creators criminals, but if they don't reside in usa they will likely get away with it
That or Ripple and similar foundations will relocate to Malta. Either way the future is bright.
For eth and icos but not for ripple and xrp
XRP was created before RippleLabs and was gifted to the company.
The other thing is RippleLabs RAISED VC and didnt do an ICO.
3 seed rounds for ripple.
Any other point take from my previous postings
BITCOIN is a security.
>hilary campaign finance chief.
kek.
we pay our fucking taxes and now they want to outlaw "all icos" and deem ether a security. the what in the absolute fuck
Checked, but i don't think the statement is wrong. They still can't give us a guide on fair market value tho..
it still shows one of the biggest issues in crypto with attention whoring devs; they can be attacked and represent a further point of weakness in a crypto currency, where an entity that can't be found can also not be attacked or forced to comply.
Yes it will make it more difficult to trade such a crypto in the future when regulators take out the big guns, but one can be sure that such coins will stay independent. Not of interest for get rich quick schemers, but definitely for those who are not in the game for a quick buck
He worked for Obama and Hilary. On that fact alone Trunp will do the opposite of what he says.
Me not understooding why this not legitimizes XRP then send its price rising
with Jews, you lose
newfag
I am not so sure Trump looks kindly on cryptocurrency
>They need to be registered as securities
"Holy shit brooo they're fucking BANNING THEM HAHAHAHAH REKT ALTCOINERS le le le"
holy shit OP try not to be a faggot for like 30 seconds
what do you expect from a country that has an "accredited investor" rule - meaning that only already rich people can invest in securities? Land of the free my ass.
>>definitely for those who are not in the game for a quick buck
so bagholders
Bye bye ETH..... hello our new king: NEO
>thinking retroactive enforcement is real in America
I don't comply with terroristic threats. Even if they come from the government which rules the country I live in.
Let them come. If I die in battle I will go to Valhalla.
Let's light em up boys
