Delet this
Allied bombings killed much more than 4400 French civilians.
73 years ago my grandpa at age 14 picked up a rifle for the first time to literally non-stop fight war for 25 years, personally killing 8 frenchmen, a dozen maghrebis, 13 americans (use to hunt them through discarded cigarette butts), 4 south vietnamese(one executed for being a spy).
all this only to see the communist party turn the country into a feudalistic capitalist dictatorship for their children. meanwhile he has nightmares about skinning enemy soldiers then booby-trapping them. dunno wat to feel
Based and redpilled.
Unironically F to your grandpapa.
yup. i'm only half vietnamese though and only met him twice.
Even sadder is you waking up in the morning and realizing you're a hapa.
Holy shit based
Your grandpa was a viet rambo or what? The war wouldn't have lasted that long with more guys like this
not really i didn't inherit beta genes.
It's almost like none of it happened
My grandfather served in the Pacific though.
nah, 25 years of war literally. the americans were easy to fight because they did everything by the textbook, couldn't shoot for shit, and moved slow. he preferred fighting them over the south vietnamese because americans just called air support and shot at nothing while they slipped away. not sure what he thought about the french. didn't hate either country, just was told to kill from age 14.
...
>Implying American army did jack shit
Red Army would have done fine without landing in Normandy, if would have simply taken a bit longer to crush fascists.
>Butthurt Belt flag RIDF
Get a less obvious proxy next time, Pytor.
Did he ever kill any Koreans
you honestly don't have to believe me. he was mostly in the central highlands or up north.
the funny thing is that his unit barely lost men until they were sent to take over saigon in 74/75 right before it ended. americans would call in napalm/artillery and they'd slip away, declared they killed a 100 of them (he commanded less than 80), and called it a victory.
Thank you burger king
koreans weren't in his region, he never really mentioned them but i think koreans just kept to guarding bases and rarely ventured out. he mostly fought south vietnamese/americans in the hills.
They did this to seize Europe. Germany was already almost defeated. I would be proud of them, if they landed in 1943
>Amerifat thinks his war efforts mattered
Stay in denial, Michael.
He's probably not a proxy, just a soon to be liberated oppressed Russian minority (TM).
Since even Zhukov admitted that the Soviet army needed Lend-Lease to win...yeah.
>and not be turned into a lampshade or a bar of soap.
This is obvious thing if you learn history of WW2 just a little bit more than in American school.
After Red Army won in Stalingrad battle, they basically facerolled Nazis till Berlin.
Americans were the ultimate POGs in the war tbqh
>Semper fi.
Thats historically inaccurate. the marines did not invade Europe
>They did this to seize Europe
So that you couldn't turn the whole thing into your colony and you had to settle for only half of it instead? Poor you.
>amerifats jumps in when the war effort is almost done already
>does 15% of what European countries did
>takes 100% of the credit
At least we Swedes know and acknowledge that we did nothing but profit from it.
>be american
>think the d-day is the greatest military operation in the world where AMERICA saved Europe
>during the d-day there were more brits/canadians than americans
>americans managed to have way more casualties
Cool
>At least we Swedes know and acknowledge that we did nothing but profit from it.
You got your karma back though since you're becoming a minority in your own country. :^)
BASED
If America didn't embargo Japan they would have steamrolled the USSR by themselves
This desu. Americans and Brits were more concerned with commies taking over all of Europe. Western Europe was saved from the Russians, not the Germans.
Not that that's a bad thing though. It's not like anyone would want to live in a soviet satellite state instead of a western backed state.
>4400 young men laid down their lives
by machine guns made and sold by american (kike) companies to Nazi Germany
t. 56 %
lel the proportion of Scandinavian white people in Sweden now is much higher than WASP Americans in the USA at any point of their history
Nah, the facerolling only came after Bagration, after Kursk cemented the Red Army advantage. Stalingrad was important, but not that decisive.
Nah. Invading through Siberia was almost logistically impossible and the IJA was relatively backwards technologically; they were using outdated 1930s equipment up to the end of the war without ever modernizing.
>americans managed to have way more casualties
sounds like mostly American units were sent in first as a breakthrough force. Such units always take heavy casualties
Don`t forget how hard you brave boys had been fighting against japs all those 4 years! No need to mention Red army steamrolled through those gooks in three fucking weeks.
As opposed to the incredibly modern post-purge Red Army, right? The problem in war is always logistics
Meh, see you have been watching that fox news too much.
Watch out so you don't end up in a school shooting or something.
Having lots of POGs means your army runs smoothly. The real american triumphs during the war were logistical as opposed to impressive battlefield victories. No other country at this time and still today can send hundreds of thousands of combat troops to the opposite side of the world for a long, bloody campaign.
It's almost as if invading Manchuria involved crossing a short land frontier and not a huge ocean with dozens of island outposts that had to be taken one by one.
>No need to mention Red army steamrolled through those gooks in three fucking weeks.
maybe that's due to the fact that the Red Army did this at a point when it didn't have to fight Germany anymore, when Japan assumed the Soviets would stay neutral due to their non-aggression pact, when Japan was already mostly defeated by the Chinese and Americans, and maybe the Americans didn't have the ability to attack the Japanes land forces because they didn't share a land border with the Japanese held territory, but instead had to fight an entirely different war by island hopping? Maybe?
Read up on Khalkhin-Gol. Japs tried to poke around the soviet sphere of influence, got smacked and decided to go the other way.
They had a lot of untested officers but their equipment was better than what the Japanese had. Japan never introduced a single new weapon system over the course of the war; they were unique among all the major combatants in that way.
>As opposed to the incredibly modern post-purge Red Army, right?
Red Army managed to modernize during the war, favelado. Iconic "Katyusha", T-34 were made during WW2
> still today
That's true but asymmetrical warfare doesn't care about millions of soldiers and trillions of dollars in equipment. Americans were good at counterinsurgency and asymmetrical warfare (Philippines, Grenada, Dominican republic) but suddenly they forgot about it after the USSR disappeared. You don't win modern wars with human waves or trenches.
>muh islands n shit
Check this out boys! Notice anything? Take a closer look.
Now, the Japanese could smack China around all day long but that's like beating up a guy with Down's Syndrome and bragging about it. Any time they had to face a real opponent, they lost.
You really think I care more about "making colony" than saving my people lives who died hard fighting G*rman? Poor you.
They beat the British and US out of the Pacific and Philippines at the start of the war
Different beaches so doesn't matter
S
Ok then, maybe you should have gone home instead of turning half of Europe into your slaves for 45 years. :^)
>be Italian
>talks shit about a country who played a major role in winning the world war
>comes from Italy where they couldn’t even defeat isolated British units in North Africa who had very limited supply lines.
>gets German help
>still loses the war
It's not like the Japanese navy and air force were completely crippled by oil shortages and the American forces or anything
This is true although even the limited engagements in Mongolia in 1938 saw the IJA perform poorly against the Red Army.
>liberation of Europe
>freedom
Stay classic, some things never change
of course. Their land forces were completely inadequate against modern armies and only had limited success even against completely backwards Chinese forces in the middle of a civil war
The only way they could engage the US somewhat successfully was with air or naval power or guerilla/trench tactics on the islands
>Semper Fi
Your IQ is showing. That's not a good thing by the way.
Hey lad, how are the ex German nazi and fascists Italian communities down there? Are they interesting places to visit?
It's almost like americans don't care about winning wars as long as they last a long time and they can sell lots of weapons.
They never outright defeated the Chinese and after the KMT moved the capital to Chunking, they were safely surrounded by an impregnable chain of hills. However, Tokyo never intended to conquer the whole country anyway; taking the coastline, major cities, and farmland was enough. That was almost all the economically valuable parts of China so whatever inhospitable mountains were left in the inland didn't matter.
Oil shortages maybe, but murricans? Nigga don`t make me laugh. They are more effective in shooting each other like during that Operation Cottage.
It’s because current wars don’t have any affect on the main population. It’s the same in Europe too. Most of them don’t give a fuck about the wars either. Once an Italian girl was saying we shouldn’t be in Afghanistan, I asked her what she thought since her country has soldiers there and she said “aspetta... really? Oh well.”
And by they way, Japs relocated majority of their factories and other infrastructure to China and Korea from their islands, so during that war they had enough resourses, quit bullshitting.
bait
>what's the American submarine campaign in the Pacific campaign?
The Soviet army systematically stripped all the factories in Manchuria as well. An American journalist who traveled with the CCP to Manchuria recalled that they came across all the stripped, abandoned factories and that "Zhu De (one of Mao's generals) just stood there saying nothing, but grinding his teeth in anger."
Indeed. The Japanese were starved of oil after the US Navy utterly obliterated their shipping fleet. By 1944, there was nothing left.
>However, the Kwantung Army was far below its authorized strength; most of its heavy equipment and all of its best military units had transferred to the Pacific Theater over the previous three years to contend with the advance of American forces. Some Kwantung Army units had also re-deployed south against the Nationalist Chinese in Operation Ichigo in 1944. By 1945 the Kwantung Army contained a large number of raw recruits and conscripts, with generally obsolete, light, or otherwise limited equipment. Almost all of the tanks were early 1930s models such as the Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 89 I-Go, the anti-tank units only possessed Type 1 37 mm anti-tank guns that were ineffective against Soviet armor, and the infantry had very few machine=guns and no anti-materiel rifles or submachine guns. As a result, the Japanese forces in Manchuria and Korea had essentially been reduced to a light-infantry counter-insurgency force with limited mobility and limited ability to fight a conventional land war against a coordinated enemy. In fact, only six of the Kwantung Army's divisions existed prior to January 1945. Accordingly, the Japanese regarded none of the Kwantung Army's units as combat ready, with some units being declared less than 15% ready.[18]
>Almost all of the tanks were early 1930s models such as the Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 89 I-Go
Case in point. They were still toting equipment from 1933, 34, 35 in 1944 at which point it was hopelessly obsolete..
based
You are a fucking gook.
Arr rook same.
> Almost all of the tanks were early 1930s models such as the Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 89 I-Go
Wow excellent point, too bad soviets used pre-war БT-5, БT-7, T-26 in the beginng of that company too.
Except you introduced newer tanks as the war went along. Everyone except Japan did.
>Everyone except Japan did.
Look who`s talking. You burgers failed to design propa heavy tank.
>inb-4 b-but muh pershing
Yes this is true. But that’s where we made up for it in aircraft production
more like SEMPER FUDGE HAHAHA
Stop being fucking delusiona. You din't do shit against Japan really. Bu August 10 when you cowardly backstabbed them in Manchuria, Japan was already conducting surrender negotiations with USA. Not to Mention in Manchuria you didn't even fought more than 2 fucking understrenght Japanese divisions (and still suffered hillariously huge casaulties even then) and in your island campain in Kuriles you embarrased yourself and only showed your fucking incompetence in amphibious operations. (ALL of your fucking amphibious ships were lended to you by USA by the way)
Stop your larping dimitri, I know you are butthurt about Nips raping you in 1905 but come on.
>that pic
Pershing with 90mm HVAP was superior to your piece of shit IS-2 which ''''''120''''''''mm cannon was only equal to 75mm cannon of fucking Panther.
Throught entire WW2, you failed to counter Tigers (not to even mention King Tigers, of which there are cases of single one anihilating your entire fucking tank battalions) and Panthers.
That’s sad
Every major combatant had some strong and weak areas. American aircraft and trucks were unmatched, the German tanks were better but they had nothing to compared with the Jeep or 6x6. Both the American and German soldiers thought the other guy had better equipment and their own was junk and their governments were trying to screw them over.
The 75 mm cannon of the Panther is one of the most underrated guns in the whole war, IIRC it's better than the 88 mm of a Tiger. Caliber doesn't tell you the whole story.
poor guy in the portrait looks so disappointed
But the 88 had further range, and the 88 on King Tiger was even better, inferior only to British 17 pdr.
>country that surrendered to Germany in one day talking shit about anything
Seriously though, Russia didn't even really defeat the token army.
With that unfavored condition, the IJA abandoned open fields of Manchuria and was retreating to mountainous North Korea where you can attack armored divisions more favorably (like in Afghanistan), and the war ended during the retreat.
Also, Russia outnumbered them two to one, and yet total casualties were not that different..
> Not to Mention in Manchuria you didn't even fought more than 2 fucking understrenght Japanese divisions
>By 1945, the Kwantung Army consisted of a mere 713,000 personnel, divided into 31 infantry divisions, nine infantry brigades, two tank brigades, and one special purpose brigade.
Butthurt-belt at it`s best again.
>country that did less than 1% of work in defeating nazis talking anything
I meant to say that 29 out of those 31 divisions didn not even fought but retreated to Korea just like said.
I am not fucking butthurt, I am just stating facts. Its not enought for Russians that they fucking claim thet they ALONE defeated Germany (which is horseshit) but they also have to steal America's victory over Japan.
Take off the proxy, Fyodor. You're not fooling anyone.
