It's wednesday night/thursday morning and today/yesterday is/was our national day.

2. What are you drinking right now?
I'll start.

It could be better, but then again; so could everything. Cheers!

Mercy bump.
Im drinking Bud Light after a hard work day. Fuck you i like it.
I dont know anything about good beer. What is good beer not bitter as fuck?
>Fuck you i like it
I'm still gonna memearrow you
>Bud light
>What is good beer not bitter as fuck?
What? No beer is really bitter, lad. Most good ones I've had are lagers or IPAs, which are not even remotely the darkest kinds around.
But try some Czech lager. It will hopefully be very good, heavy on the taste and not be some watered down garb like popular brands can be, regardless of where they come from. Polish lager Żywiec (the standard one at least) is watery shit, for your convenient and readily available comparison. :^)
The best way to learn about beers is to go on a beer journey. Buy as many different kinds as you can and give them proper tasting sessions over time, and you will find your personal taste and appreciation for various beers. And don't be afraid to try the same kind several times - different breweries will make their own snowflake versions and some can be good while others can be terrible. It's jungle, but one has to start somewhere.
one of these
IPAs are bitterer(?) than most dark beers because they use much more hops
>the swede pouring his beer
>IPAs are bitterer(?) than most dark beers because they use much more hops
It depends entirely on the IPA and the brewery. Some are bad and unflavourful, whereas some are like tastier lagers. Gotta find the right one. Napa Smith IPA is pretty good, but they stopped selling them in my local alco shop. Dark beers can be quite bad too and end up tasting sweet, which to me is a no-no when it comes to beer. But generally, a hoppier and maltier beer will of course have more flavour, but that doesn't mean it's all bitter flavours, even if I guess I can agree with your generalization.
What was meant by this?
>tasting sweet, which to me is a no-no when it comes to beer
dont you like bocks?
hes saying you got parkingson hence that much head in your glass
Fucking yes now this one I can get behind
>dont you like bocks?
Ayinger's doppelbock 'Celebrator' is alright, but not splendid. I am not too familiar with bocks in general though.
>hes saying you got parkingson hence that much head in your glass
Oh. Well that joke eluded me.
But I actually poor the beer while holding the bottle neck and not the body this time. It was easier as the glass was already put on the shelf, so I didn't get a proper pour nor a proper glass tilt. Pls no bully
>I am not too familiar with bocks in general though.
i like this
its only sold in december and january tho
>googled it
>found some list of christmas beers available in Sweden 2012
>it wasn't even on there
Ree, I'll have to look for it this winter.
Just had a bottle of white sparkling wine by myself
Should make a change
Will try to reduce
idk why we only export corona, having tons of better commercial beers
I was gonna post
>I've still got this one backlogged for purchase, should I ever find it somewhere
but then I remembered that it was made in Tallinn, Estonia. Not sure why I had it associated with Mexico in my head, but there I go, I guess.
gib cheap Kosken pls
my top 3 if you care
>NEGRA modelo
>indio
>pacífico
I got more wine
>if you care
I always care for recommendations. That's half the fun with these drinking threads.
>>NEGRA modelo
Have this one in Sweden. Will pick up and try.
>>pacífico
Clara? Swedish alco monopoly carry a Pacífico Clara that you can order, however only in units of 24.
>>indio
Could not find this one, though. ;_;
Eh... will do.
>Have this one in Sweden
based
>Clara?
yes, pacifico only comes in lager (clara means light, as in the opposite of dark)
>only in units of 24
maybe throw a party or order it if you find it in a bar
>INDIO
its the one from my first post in the thread
>yes, pacifico only comes in lager (clara means light, as in the opposite of dark)
Ah, I see.
>maybe throw a party or order it if you find it in a bar
Good advice. Could probably get some friends over this summer.
>its the one from my first post in the thread
Yes, but I meant that I couldn't find it in Sweden (no results from Systembolaget's website). But I'll keep a lookout for it, or perhaps make an import request. It's usually expensive to do so, but they can help you most things they don't carry, I've been told by the staff.
>help you most things
help you *import* most things
I've started typing too fast lately.
