The name doesn't really translate to anything in Bulgarian. In Bulgarian, "Пянa" means foam, and "пeнлив/a" means foamy - so I can kinda understand where you'd get it from, but ultimately it doesn't mean anything.
Пeнкa is a name that only old grandmas (and girls born in small villages) have nowadays, for what it's worth.
