I imagine most people are just too lazy to travel. And the visa thing is a little inconvenient I guess.
But you guys should definitely visit, theres a lot of stuff to see and do. St. Petersburg is definitely a place people should come see already once in their life just for general knowledge if they can, especially if you're so close.
Also I guess it's kind of part of your history too, for better or worse.

I mean dont get me wrong. Both Poland and Ukraine are great. I prefer Ukraine over Poland desu. Ukraine has some really amazing places like Kiev and Odessa and is really fun. You should go there for sure to relax and meet some qts. But it's not the same thing in terms of stuff you can see. I mean like cultural heritage and stuff. I dont know, whenever I go to a new country for the first time I like to see historical buildings, museums and shit.
Also Russia is massive. Most people will just go St. Petersburg and Moscow, which are awesome for tourists. But more adventurous travelers will go to the south, they'll explore Siberia and Kamchatka and stuff. But that stuff can take a long time and can be expensive.
