Really makes me think.
Orthodoxy
beacuse the dont have the amount of money as the greens
That excuse doesn’t work after 30 years, Janauzcski.
>Russia is somewhat better
Russia is marginally better off thanks to immense reserves of oil, gas and minerals. If it wasn't governed by retards it'd be one of the richest countries in the world.
Why hasn't Greece, turned the neighbouring countries yellow ?
Because OP is a faggot and used an outdated map.
still can't believe that Soviet Union was #2 in the world in economics
but sometimes i see the traces of fallen empire
Yeah cause the countries in red used to be such powerhouses before and definitely aren't worthless in European history.
>it'd be one of the richest countries in the world
How exactly? Russia isn't a tiny arab kingdom like Kuwait, if you share the money Russia gets from natural resources export between all its citizens that would be like $100/month per capita.
>Yellowtugal
Didn't you hear? You can just mine up all your territory with resources and get rich. Russian politicans are so fucking dumb, they could have just done that and be rich as fuck.
Remember that economy and leadership functions like a turn of Civilization for people on Jow Forums.
Hey
Being worthless throughout history doesn't mean you can't be wealthy one day
Pretty sure that map is outdated.

Soviet Union was #2 in the world in economics only according to the soviet statistics. Real exchange rate of Soviet ruble and USD was not 1:0.6, but 1:4. So, to know the real size of the Soviet economy, you should divide the official number by 6-7.
Neither are Canada or Australia. You have immense energy reserves, enough to export and to provide yourself with cheap power. Cheap power that could give you a competitive edge in manufacturing. You have proximity to both European and emerging Asian markets that reduce shipping costs on imports and exports. The revenue from huge energy and mineral exports could go into developing infrastructure, modernising cities, educating citizens, fostering innovative startups. Anything to increase productivity and create alternate sources of wealth.

God I wish there was still communism, everyone had a job, money had no value, the never ending lines for rationised food, all this while witnessing the collapse of our economy from the comfy commie blocks.
>God I wish there was still communism
And I still pay you my money, no. Try to get job, gypsy.
>And I still pay you my money
>reparations payed to USSR: $300,000,000
hmmmm
Sure, but it's no coincidence their contribution to civilization is minuscule compared to the rest of Europe and that the places that had the most influence on Europe a thousand year ago are still the richest parts of Europe.
Norway and Finland are kind of on the periphery here both in terms of influence and history.
