Notice Buddha is actually black and had dreads

>notice Buddha is actually black and had dreads
>decide to try Buddhism out

>Just read he died from eating raw meat
Are you shitting me? The previous Buddha had lived thousands of years what a rip-off!

that a Zen Buddha, nigger.
Different from other Buddhism.
Also, true Buddhism follows the philosophy and the deity.

Same difference

He was quite literally indo-aryan, i.e. White

Explain the hair. He's got an afro-ish hair in just about every statue.

We do not really know what the historical Buddha looked like as the first Buddha statues and Buddha heads were created only roughly around 200 years after his Mahaparinirvana. As the Buddha is portrayed with ringlets of hair to illustrate his life-story, we can say that the Buddha heads and statues we see now are not the accurate physical representation.

We do however know where he lived and what the people who lived there at the time were.

Thank you. Good post. I am reading Siddhartha at the moment.

I get the 4 truths and know I need to follow the 8 fold path but where do I begin? I am greedy at heart city person btw.

Bump

not him but meditation is number one
and most monks undergo the path of poverty just like buddha, you don't have to beg but try to live a moderate life, no fancy foods etc

by the way his long ears is to show he was a prince, back then indian princes had giant earrings and were very heavy, he took them off when he didn't want to be prince

Buddha was 100 percent pure Nordic.

>He was quite literally indo-aryan, i.e. White
Indo-Aryan from Andronovo =/= some Indian mutt thousands of years later

>Explain the hair.
Greco-Buddhist interpretation iirc

Buddha most likely was not even real.

due to his recollection of his earlier sexual life at the harem there is no reason why he shouldn't be

an unreal person doesn't need to satisfy his non existent lust

have you literally never met an indian girl
they basically have black people hair, just a bit softer. next you'll tell me there's no way indians ever figured out how to braid fuckin hair

Zoroaster > Budda
also why do anglofones put that random 'h' in there, it's dumb and pointless

It has to do with translations of Indian languages related words have that h sound, it is a title, the awakened one. Like Christ is a title.

Hmmm I'll try it out. I'll stop eating out which I do a lot of. I'll try to eat only what's been bought by others in my house.

Explain more?

It's just one of the parables
Supposedly he was having so much fun having sex on the balcony that when he fell off he ejaculated in midair, I mentioned it to show later ascetic followers wouldnt portray their leader in that fashion if he was their creation

Sidddartha was not Indian, he was born in modern day Nepal in the Himalayas. He belonged to the Shakya tribe, which no longer exists.

He was a based Bihari like me

>he was born in modern day Nepal in the Himalayas.
I think it's a big push to say he was Nepali desu. The majority of what is now Nepali people (Kiratis) like from your image are distinct to the Shakya tribe.
>He belonged to the Shakya tribe, which no longer exists.
Shakya's were a Vedic tribe that had settled in India a thousand years back iirc.

* are mentioned in Buddhist texts as being distinct
* a thousand years back by the time of Buddha

And he supposedly lived in modern day Uttar Pradesh. That's India. So it really sounds like he was born on the Himalayan foothills which make up the Indian-Nepalese border

Only the Dravidians are based. They were the first Indians
