France
Argentina
Peru
Croatia

im going for:

Australia
Iceland
Denmark
Nigeria

France
Argentina
Peru
Nigeria

Australia
Iceland
Denmark
Croatia

I unironically don't know shit about soccer (football), as you can guess from my flag, but am willing to learn it. What game should I watch that will be the most entertaining (best teams)?

France
Argentina
I'd like to see Peru win, but dunno desu
Croatia

it's a sport for poor people

Yesterday's Spain vs Portugal game was breddy neat.

>What game should I watch that will be the most entertaining (best teams)?

>France vs Australia
i think france is a stronger team than australia so this game may be a little one sided.

>Argentina vs Iceland
north european teams have a reputation for playing very defensively while latin american countries tend to be really attacking teams. this may be another really one sided game in favour of argentina.

>Peru vs Denmark
same thing applies. defensive north euro side vs more attacking latin american one. denmark has a better chance of winning than iceland.

>Croatia vs Nigeria

no idea about these teams.

yesterdays match like mexicana said was pretty good
champions league final was not to long ago, you can rewatch that and see a prime example of a shit tier goalie.
pick a team in premier league and follow their games

Australians are WHITE and we know the French team are not prepared for that

No way

>No way

what no way? i said im "going for" not "who i think will win".

But we played against 56% America! We're half prepared

is there a single actual frenchman on your team?

Yeah I watched that one. Don't know what to think of it though.

Quality post. I guess I'll settle for France vs Australia. But will probably also watch Croatia vs Nigeria, just bcuz Im curious seeing what a third world cunt like Nigeria can actuallly offer on the Jow Forumsernational scene.

france
messi
peru
croatia

those are my bets.

well the population of nigeria is over 180 million people so its a large pool to pick a team from, while the population of croatia is only about 4 million. i have heard croatia is a soccer-crazy country though. not sure how popular it is in nigeria. african teams tend to be very athletic but not as organised and strategic as european teams.

>not as organised and strategic
that's why they will lose. they'll work hard, run around a lot, but in the end get outplayed

Italy.
Italy.
Italy.
Italy.

People from the Caribbean colonies were already French under Napoleon.

i mean ethnic frenchmen.

Aren't like half of the Australian team ethnically Croats?

oh wow you really know nothing

french team

just taking in generalities. i dont follow any team closely. if you are such an expert why not give your opinion and actually contribute to the thread.

Does Greizman still play for atletico? I've been out of the loop when it comes to football for the past year or so but i figured a talent like him would get scooped up by some bigger team.

iceland is gonna win it all

he signed a contract to play atletico until 2020 i believe

a few white french sounding names in there. do french africans sometimes have european names?

nah. they're all mbeles and kmwulus there :D

I made a mistake
plz forgive me

> MOSCOW, June 15 (Reuters) - Nigerian fans cheering on their national team in Saturday’s World Cup match against Croatia will be missing an important item in their supporter’s toolkit: chickens.

> Live chickens are sometimes seen at soccer matches in Nigeria where fans paint them in the green and white colours of their national flag before holding them aloft and leading crowd chanting.

> But officials in the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, where Nigeria will take on Croatia on Saturday in their first outing at the World Cup, have said animals will not be allowed in the stadium.

this is pure racism.

THIS
They kicked ass in Euro2016 and I want to see them destroy Argentina and win it all.

Australia
Arg
Tie
Nigeria

Africans shouldn't even be allowed to enter Russia or Europe for that matter.

Even BBC say there is no racism in Russia.

>I want to see them destroy Argentina

i would like to see that happen too but i wouldnt put money on it. when germany destroyed brazil a few years ago i nearly cum in my pants seeing the tears of the brazilian fans in the crowd.

where will you be watching the games? i don't have tv so i have to go down to the local pub and sit alone like an autist :(

i meant against the chickens.

Ah yes....It was so deliciously pleasing to see Brazil get pecker slapped hard on their own turf.

Join to the group of fans around you in the pub.

Probably watching some stream with American commentators while drunk because i don't have a tv.

maybe after i have downed a couple of bears or if they happen to smoke i'll get to socialize. one can hope

im only going to watch live the games that are on at a reasonable time here. once we get closer to the finals i will be happier getting up at 4am to catch a game.

>France vs Australia
France
>Argentina vs Iceland
Argentina
>Peru vs Denmark
Denmark
>Croatia vs Nigeria
This one could go either way Tbh

that's comfy desu

What does a bear taste like, that's not a euphemism is it?

1 hour boys

Drink! Drink more! Then socialize!

>there's no black in rainbow
top kek

why yes.. yes it is. gonna find the bear mode bois and go down on them xD no homo btw

>well the population of nigeria is over 180 million people so its a large pool to pick a team from, while the population of croatia is only about 4 million
This doesn't actually matter that much. Consider how China(!) have less olympic medals than Sweden and that India basically have none, or how the Soviet Union is still the best sporting nation in history and is still number two on the medal rankings despite having a fairly small population and not having existed for almost 3 decades now.

>lost to us a little over two weeks ago
It's over for them, our team is total shit.

Lemme guess. You are in Tallinn. Most likely you'll go to Vanalinnas. Mad Murphy's, Nimeta, Route 13???

I do hope we see some Nigerian qts today. For some reason them and Ethiopia have the best black qts

Attached: Morocco fan.webm (736x696, 2.85M)

nah. i grew up there, but now i live/work in the deep south

Is Ethiopia where the black jews come from? The prettiest girl i've ever seen was a black jew.

We'll see. I really wish you, Sweden and Finland were world cup material. I am bored of the same teams every 4 years. It would be cool to see Finland play against Wales or Norway vs. Armenia.

Nigerian depends on the tribe, igbo and yoruba are kino. Strongly disagree with ethiopian, they are just nerdic bird faces with the wrong color.

Finland I doubt ever will be, they genuinely do not care. For us and Sweden it's an absolute travesty considering how much money the government and supporters funnel into football.

Tartu would a fun place to watch the matches.

why are you apologizing like a little faggot. be a man, faggot.

it is ;)

>MOSCOW (AFP) - Lionel Messi's bid for World Cup redemption begins on Saturday when he leads Argentina against tiny Iceland, as fancied France make their bow in Russia targeting a repeat of their 1998 glory.

>Messi's eternal rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, made history on Friday when he became only the fourth player to score at four World Cups on his way to a hat-trick against Spain to earn a dramatic 3-3 draw.

>His fellow superstar Messi, with whom he has monopolised the world player of the year award for a decade, is under immense pressure to secure his first major international trophy and make amends for Argentina's painful loss to Germany in the 2014 final.

>The Barcelona maestro was not born when the "Albiceleste" last tasted success in 1986 and, at almost 31, knows that time is running out.

>Spurred on by their fans' thunderous "Viking clap", Iceland famously dumped England out of Euro 2016 and coach Heimir Hallgrimsson said he wanted more of the same.

>"We've shown that if we work together as one unit, like we've been doing, then anything is achievable and it won't come as a shock," he said.

That's a shame. I am really disappointed in Sweden this time.
The Denmark-Peru game shall be interesting. Denmark for the win, of course.

**I meant Italy

>Daily Mail commentator Robert Hardman's attempt to attack Russia by calling the 2018 World Cup a "tawdry circus" and comparing it to the 1936 Berlin Olympics has backfired spectacularly, with the journalist attacked in The Daily Mail's own comments section and on Twitter.

So did I, mate.
Germany-Mexico
Brazil-Switzerland
could be pretty interesting

>This doesn't actually matter that much.

yeah. i guess so. iceland beating england is a good example.

>Germany-Mexico
Can't wait for this one! I want Schland to win, of course.
>delet taco

I can't say I'm really that familiar with Peru, but in a case like this I'd be biased towards Denmark as UEFA generally has the best teams and thus the toughest competition.

>Schland
lel

> While its national team failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup that kicked off with the host nation, Russia, thrashing underdog Saudi Arabia 5-0 in Moscow on Wednesday night, China is nevertheless well-represented at the monthlong tournament.

> Chinese fans will make up a significant chunk of the audience across the five venues where matches are being played, having snapped up more than 40,000 of the 2.4 million tickets that have been sold so far, according to FIFA.
