People I have met here in Germany have been really great, friendly and somewhat interesting too.
People in Paris were absolute dogshit to a foreigner and montpellier was really nice in contrast. Every single non parisian I met told me I shouldnt mind them, Parisians are well known for being cunts.

People from far away roughly overestimate both the french and us too, were literally not as cultured/fine/efficient/productive as especially Asians like to think.
