I want to hear from psychologists but it's my understanding that a huge number of transgenders kill themselves even after surgery which tells me they're fucked in the head. I don't know enough about the psychology of the disorder to be able to accept it fully or write it off. All I can be sure of is that they should be treated with the same respect and dignity that everyone else gets.

Ultimately I feel sorry for them and if transitioning is the only method of treatment we have to stop them from committing suicide then so be it.
