spice is dangerous shit. it's not just "designer cannabinoid" they just spray random green leafy shit with questionable synthesised chemicals. they have to alter the chemicals every so often because the government is always banning specific formulations. it can give you brain damage, and is also legitimately addictive/habit-forming. had a mate go insane on the stuff, he did it maybe 20 times and his 21st smoke he just freaked out, after he was subdued and spent a bit in a ward, he just went dull, he's still sort of there, but he's lost a lot of his "spark"
