No, because American culture is much more regional. Canada is very similar to states like Michigan, Illinois, Washington and Dakota, but much less so compared to places like Florida, Georgia or Virginia.

The main reason I feel that Canada shouldn't be a part of America is that the US is bloated enough already, federal and state governments can't be cohesive and represent the interests of citizens because of the sheer scale. The needs of a farmer in South Dakota are very different than those of a hairdresser in San Francisco, a fisherman in Louisiana or an investment banker in NYC. To add the entirety of Canada into the mix would mean that our interests would not be represented, and we would have to share issues with areas we have no similarities or ties to, like the American south.

We're the superior version. Canada is America's younger, sexier, smarter brother.
