And?

It's full of CP

>full of CP
Are you from 2007? Don't lie to me.

It's a weird deep web hellhole frozen in 2003

It's like viewing an alternate warped universe

Attached: 1522719283417.jpg (1000x1000, 108K)

Just remembering being there gives me chills.

It's like an isolated cold digital ghost town unaware of the outside world.
It's strangely alien in an unexplainable way.

...and animal husbandry!

you're probably kidding because Russian internet is very modern, heavily moderated and it is the second most inhabited internet in the world! :)

Are we talking about the same Russian internet?

>frozen in 2003
>hellhole

Does not compute.

>find news site containing forbidden knowledge written by a russian woman
>use VPN to access it just because
>its banned in russia
wtf

You're obviously on the surface normie level or you're in on it and pretending its not spooky

That half russian internet which is full of ancient untouched obscure forums with only a couple of active users talking into the empty mass of nothingness and youtube videos with 30 views

>ancient untouched obscure forums with only a couple of active users
Post an example.

It's like the early 2000s but with none of the homeyness or community which we are nostalgic about.

It feels isolated and chilling. 30% of the websites you find are just dead links and 40% are completely abandoned 1.0 webspaces.

you don't know what you are talking about

I expected you guys to understand what i was talking about.

doesn't something just feel 'off' when you're browsing some of these smaller websites? When you go 'offroad' on the internet following random links for the hell of it?

Web 1.0 is efficient and fast.

>completely abandoned 1.0 webspaces.
Like this?
theworldsworstwebsiteever.com/

this is true

But don't you get spooked a little bit?
it feels like the internet equivalent of a condemned building which nobody dares to enter

No? Can't you even read?

Attached: firefox_2018-06-19_10-59-24.png (441x154, 50K)

actually yeah sort of like that

Idk what are you talking about. That's why I asked you to post an example.

I know many web 1.0 russian forums with thousands or more users. Idk any Russian forum with 'a couple of users'.

Post interesting russian websites that aren't just porn, porn isn't interesting.

Reminder: Out boards are more tech-progressive than Jow Forums.

It feels very empty and hollow as a whole. I like it but it creeps me out

moto-planeta.ru/motoizh/tuning-izha/14802-izh-yupiter-chopper.html

'It feels empty' as 'no JavaScript banners all over the page'?

since October 3, 2009

say thanks to Putin

>clicking through an abandoned Russian website
>don't even know how I got there
>feel like someone is watching me
>Active Users: 1
>H-haha whatever I guess I'll just go back to the western internet
>Suddenly a bloodsucker hand on my shoulder
>Now I am the Russian internet

Attached: ladda ned.png (533x395, 268K)

somebody make this plot into an anime series NOW

Russian internet novadays is mostly centered around big sites and social networks, like Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, Livejournal, Russian part of Youtube, etc. Of cource there are lots of abandoned sites and forums. When VK became a thing, people began to move everything to there and abandoning their forums. I though you guys in the west do the same with FB.
Well, if you don't, it's probably because FB is trash.

Hiddenchan
Ag.ru

But how will you understand them if they're all in Russian?

I won't, but that's what makes it interesting to just browse.

You can install a browser extension translating the page by google or bing translate.

>Russian internet novadays is mostly centered around big sites and social networks
Nope. Look at top lists - forums are the main part of Russian internet, and that's good.

I really miss these web 1.0 french forums, the best were the history forums there are some who are still alive but most of them are dead unfortunately (or adopted a new digusting interface)

Good old times when the focus was on content, not the shiny nonsense.

>use american internet
>it's in spanish

Attached: 1526034753265.jpg (800x1130, 88K)

in the early 2010's, a French-Canadian top-tier strategy game player created the "war forum" a forum only dedicated to military history, you could find there infinite amounts of information about history (specially about WW2 eastern front and the classical era), shitons of pictures and arts about war, shitons of historical songs and shit, the community was extremly mature and nice (even though a lot of people were underages) it was a true master piece but the interface was pretty old, so the autistic french-canadian decided to ruin everything
strategietotale.com/
just look at this shit

That's sad.

>Unironically have to use Russian search engine because Jewgle and it's counterparts delists and censor websites with their """"freedom"""" wall.

Cпacибo, Aбy!

Duckduckgo dot com

Russian imboard with vp9 webm

Why does VKontakte require your phone number? That's kind of creepy.

So they can ban your profile if you do something against the rules and since it requires phone number it will be harder than just create another profile with temporary mails.

KGB project

Join Russian livejournal, all meaningful intellectual discussions are there.

As creepy as Zucc spying on you or even harder?

are all of them porn?
why are you looking at cp user
