Less than half of homeless are from Seattle proper. Many are from out of state. People coming in shouldn't affect housing prices forever if NIMBY fucks weren't so averse to upzoning. Seattle needs to build more proper apartments and strive to become a proper city.

Increase supply to meet the demand, and housing prices will fall. It's basic economics. It benefits the housing developers, the youth (both native and transplants), the poor, and only hurts boomers who are counting on shorting the supply to make their house costs (and thus their net worth) skyrocket. Boomer NIMBY politics, not Amazon, is is to blame for the ridiculous housing costs.
