Some InfoWars idiots think Kennedy would have prevented the Vietnam War when actually he was willing to go much further than LBJ's limited war. Kennedy believed China was behind the whole thing and sought imperialistic domination of East Asia and that in the long run they were a greater danger to world peace than the Soviet Union.
It's not black and white. For example, FDR was not a big fan of organized labor and Reagan had some fairly liberal or at least libertarian beliefs on social issues.

The voting age was 21 until 1972, hence someone had to have been born in 1939 minimum to be able to vote for Kennedy. The exact point where the boomer generation starts is slightly debatable, but if you accept it as 1946, then the oldest ones could not have voted for Kennedy, LBJ, or even Nixon the first time.
