Boomer: The President
Owen Peterson
Ryan Powell
BOOM! headshot! WOOOOOOOOOH!!
Aaron Robinson
>guy born in 1917
>boomer
Excuse me.
Henry Murphy
Boomers adore him.
Christian Robinson
>stand up against the banks
>die
hmm
Lucas Perry
Because he was president when they were child or teenagers
Josiah Richardson
They were literal kids; none of them could even vote until 1968. That was mostly their parents who idolized Kennedy. I'm pretty sure more boomers idealize Reagan than Kennedy.
Hunter Myers
rly makes me think
Oliver Gutierrez
Nolan Bell
>left-wing hero
>did Bay of Pigs and started Vietnam escalation
I never understood this
Noah Bennett
who told you he is a left-wing here. He is an american hero. He is liked by both republicans and democrats
Ryder Reyes
a left wing hero would be fdr and a right wing hero would be Reagan. Presidents like teddy, Kennedy, Lincoln and Washington are liked by both sides.
Andrew Peterson
Some InfoWars idiots think Kennedy would have prevented the Vietnam War when actually he was willing to go much further than LBJ's limited war. Kennedy believed China was behind the whole thing and sought imperialistic domination of East Asia and that in the long run they were a greater danger to world peace than the Soviet Union.
Adrian Hill
It's not black and white. For example, FDR was not a big fan of organized labor and Reagan had some fairly liberal or at least libertarian beliefs on social issues.
Hunter Long
>not based and redpilled like this guy
Camden Morgan
I am talking in general and most americans don't know those dies. They just know fdr=socilaist policies and reagan=trickle down economics
Parker Bennett
details*
Adrian Sullivan
>be American president
>get shot
Jayden James
He perfectly encapsulates the dual nature of the boomer: simultaneously a self-righteous liberal who will be the first to lecture other countries, and other people within their country, on how they are stepping on fundamental human rights and an insatiable and equally self-righteous warmonger when their ego is threatened, as it was on 9/11.
Andrew Lewis
But then again, Reagan borrowed his economic strategy from Kennedy and even openly touted this fact (keeping in mind that he had been a Democrat until 1964)
Blake Miller
so why'd they shoot him?
Eli Brown
It would seem that some /leftypol/fag got a mail order rifle and decided to shoot him. Thing is, there'd never be any /x/ shit about Kennedy's death if only the investigation had been handled in any remotely competent fashion. Which it wasn't.
>cops holding up Oswald's gun without gloves, thereby erasing any fingerprints on it
Stuff like that. You have no idea how far police procedures and training have come since 1963. Barney Fife was only a slight exaggeration of the average cop in that era.
Ethan Barnes
UNIRONICALLY this.
Jose Jackson
>redpilled
yes
>based
slightly less so
i kinda like the wall street big man personality though, but he should be signing even more executive orders desu
Jose Lee
>Boomers adore him
that would be pic related
>left-wing
he's centrist. america doesn't really have a "left wing", what they call left is our centre.
the closest you'll get to left wing in america is theodore roosevelt's bull moose party, franklin d roosevelt's new deal democrats or bernie sanders
Adam Wright
he's also the only catholic president, juan
John Wilson
The voting age was 21 until 1972, hence someone had to have been born in 1939 minimum to be able to vote for Kennedy. The exact point where the boomer generation starts is slightly debatable, but if you accept it as 1946, then the oldest ones could not have voted for Kennedy, LBJ, or even Nixon the first time.
Noah Thomas
he was the US Adam with Jack the wife
Blake Thomas
>catholic
>smuggled in marilyn monroe to fuck her
hmm
Justin Nelson
thats reagen you MOTHERFUCKER never post such falsehoods again
Logan Richardson
>In a nation that was proud of hard work, strong families, close-knit communities, and our faith in God, too many of us now tend to worship self-indulgence and consumption. Human identity is no longer defined by what one does, but by what one owns. But we’ve discovered that owning things and consuming things does not satisfy our longing for meaning. We’ve learned that piling up material goods cannot fill the emptiness of lives which have no confidence or purpose.
can any murrigan tell me about jimmy carter? he seemed like he cared
Carter Phillips
Yes. The guy who preached human rights and democracy while dick slurping North Korea, Cuba, and Libya. Also the guy who loves all things Islamic and the guy who threw up his hands and said the economy was broken and beyond fixing so we just had to accept living like communist Eastern Europe with breadlines and rationing.
James Williams
>getting shot
natural death in america
Chase Butler
>leftist by American standards
>Boomers like him
Literally what
